Notified Target about the scam.  They are not involved and told me to report it via 7726.  So I did.  
Then got two more saying I had won something through Best Buy.  Reported them and got one more about Target.
Nothing since I reported the last one.

this morning at 5:35 am i was contact by text message telling me that i had won a $1000.00 sweepstate from target, gave me a number to post so I could recieve my gift card that i was supposely won from target. Well just as I figured it was a scam, but I have to wonder is Target apart of this, to get my business, I did fill out a  form inside the store to win, gift card. so my question is this, Why did I get a call a winner #. for target, I thought to myself, well I did fill out form at Target. so what's that about. is Target doing this, I see that it's happen to many. And I think it's pretty bad, that Target has to use a scam to get people to come in there store, And yes it is a scam. but how did they get my cell #.??? just saying why has so many people got this message, different states, and theirs a target so close by me, Is it a scam, or is it Target trying to pull the wool over everyones eyes. B/c I'm seeing this happen to many, so why is Target allowing this to happen.???

Received same "won Target Gift Card" message.  Never gave anyone my cell number, so of course it's a scam.

Same thing here....i "won" a Target gift card.....Knew not to go to the site.

same here got txt saying you won, go to targetcontest.net and enter code 84758..good thing i couldn't fine the website

I got this same text. I could really use a $1000 gift card for my kid's Christmas. It's such a shame that sinful people choose the Holiday Season's to scam people and show such hatred toward others. As my good friend says..."God don't like UGLY!!!"...they will get theirs in the end.

Received call from this number stating I had won a $1000 Target Gift card and to claim by going to TargetContests.net.

I got a message:

Received scam text as above. On Verizon, forward this message to 7726 to get these punks shut down.

Just received this same text as the rest with the same code 2912.

Received this text at 6:20 AM today: "Your entry last month has WON! Go to TargetContests.com and enter your winning code 2912 to claim your FREE $1000 Target gift card within 24hrs." This really irritates me that this many people are being bothered by this scammer. I'm doing some internet research to figure out what carrier is responsible for allowing this piece of garbage to have a cell phone to harass/scam people with.

I got this call once today and once yesterday. Same number same code message definitely must be a scam. Because I have never shopped at Target ever
