They probably like that as now they'll pass that phone number to a telemarketer that does fax blasts.

Had this same company call about energy efficient something.  Pressed 2 to be taken off the list and now 2 weeks later they are at it again.

I get calls fairly frequently from this number, but all they'll get is the annoying "EEEEEEEEEYYAAAAAAAAAAA" sound from my fax machine. Wonder how they like that?

I got a robo-call from these scum bags last night and decided to press 1 and learn more about their scam. A pleasant enough sounding female came on the line and immediately went into her pitch ... which I repeatedly interrupted.

She not only claimed to be calling from the "San Diego area" (a lie,) but also said that they obtained my phone number from a "national utility data base!" (didn't know such an animal existed.) As it turns out these clowns called about 2 months ago and were still using the same pitch. They frequently make references/allusions that are designed to give the impression that they are somehow connected to a government entity. They are not. The sole function of the call is to have you set up an appointment for a "state wide inspector" (read that as a low life, high pressure scam artist) to visit your home and try to sell you over priced services for windows, solar panels or something else.

I am on do not call list

Just got a call from this number and we have number ID on our phone so we were able to see the number and did not recognize it. We did not pick up and there was no message. Probably a telemarketer . We hate them and my husband would be very happy to have a few minutes face to face with them .  

I have some cool calling features with my phone company. One of them is an eMail text of voicemails.
I AM on the DoNotCall list, This one left a message.
The message was:
"The cost of energy is on the rise you maybe able to save money with the home performance program for limited time there are rebates up to four thousand dollars towards making your home more energy efficient. Now is the time for replacing your Rusty old heater in efficient air-conditioner or draft the all the windows to see if you're home qualify for this special program. Press one for more information or press two to be removed from the list."
Notice there is no company name or phone number in the message... More than likely they are another phone number list builder trying to confirm that mine is a real number, or just a Scam Contractor looking for Suckers,

Just now got a call from this number as I was reading posts from other numbers. The call was blocked but the phone still rings once. I have just found this site so I have not been collecting info on all the calls I've gotten. I am lucky enough to have a phone system that allows me to block up to 30 numbers. I am maxed out! I was getting at least one call a day and often 2 or 3. Since blocking these 30 numbers the calls have dropped to almost nothing. It appears that either it is the same jerks or the word gets around that the calls are being blocked. I will pay more attention to the calls from this point forward.

Telemarketer scammers

I received a call today from this number, it was a recording from "Senior Life Alert" medical alert.  I didn't get much farther in the call as I immediately hung up, but I assume they were trying to sell an alert service.  I'm also on the Federal Do Not Call list but I've found that to be pretty useless...I still get tons of calls from these people.

Received 2 calls today Sept. 24 have no idea who's calling, I won't answer unless I know who's calling!!!!

Keeps calling my 92 yr old mother, call him back and nothing.
