Blocked when I tried to return call.

909 786-0051 Keeps call our cell phone never says anything ... call them back and we get a blocked message

Ok... Digging some more into Level 3 Communication. They offer Voice of IP (VoIP). This joker is likely in India. Prolly some kid that bought a cheap IP PLAN. WIth these type of plans you get a number in the US but can be used  from anywhere... All you need is a internet connection

I got a call today. This person doesn't even know how SPRINT sell their service. By the accent he definitely sounded Indian. I can say that because I am Indian and can tell the accent. Same number. Started with Name Address, DOB, and then went for the Social.. I gave him all false info to see where he was headed. Have any on you listed items for sale on Craig's List. I don't give out my number to random people. So this was a odd surprise after I listed some items for a motorcycle today. If level 3 is jerking us around maybe a legal letter to them is in order. Unless this joker works for Level 3. How is calling from this number if the number is blocked.  Anyways a legal action against Level 3 Communications might be in order.

Got this call on my daughter's cell phone.  Comes every week or so.  I did a reverse lookup and found they are out of California and Level 3 is the provider.  I called Level 3 (as shown here by Mark on Jan 8) and they gave me their fraud number:

I spoke with one of their fraud technicians and they are investigating.

I RCIVED HE SAM CALL LAST NIGHT THEY OFFERED A SPRINT I DID NOT UNDER  ANYTHING HE SAID HE ASK ME FOR MY NAME AND SSS# I DONT KNOW WHY

Receive a call from this number about 2-3 times a week.  They never leave a message and when I tried to call the number back I get a message stating "This account is blocked".

Same thing as everyone else. Went to the do not call registry and put in a complaint. If enough people do this they will go after them. Couldn't understand a word he said. Must be a one man show!

Sounded like he was from India, about a cell phone. Told him I was on the national do not call list, he replied
by asking me if I would like to buy a phone. (SPRINT) I asked him ware he was calling from and he said "local" and I knew he was lying. California on caller ID. Asked for his address and he pretended not to speak english any more. Only if I was interested in a cell phone.

I've gotten the same call 3 times now, I won't answer it if I don't know the number.  Tried calling back from a different phone and got the "this account is blocked" recording.  Trying to whitepage.com it and it comes up with an Ontario, CA local.

I saw that I had missed a call. They did not leave a message. I tried to call the number back and got a repeating recoded message: "This account is blocked". An interesting aside: I have registered my number on the 'do not call' list for cell phones (many months ago0; it is strange that I would get a call like this.

Missed call at 8am California time.  Called the number back and got a recording saying "This account is blocked".

I had the same problem as Babel-17, couldn't understand & he said something about Sprint headquarters I think. I hung up also. We are on the do not call list for a year, hummm.

Couldn't understand the guy well. Said something about my number having been selected. I hung up.
