Got a call (called ID said it was a cell phone???), supposedly from a tv company -satellite I think? When I pressed 1 to request being removed form their calling list, they hung up.

I just got a call from them but as I was looking to check where the call was coming from (lately I've been getting a lot of random calls..) they hung up. They didn't bother leaving a message tho.

Got a call from this number, It was to sell warranties for cars. I called the number back and it stated that it was used by several companies depending on the days of the week, and applicable laws. It did offer to let you remove the number you were calling from.

these are annoying calls I don't have time for on a prepaid phone they are voice recorded nobody picks up or leaves messages and I get calls me at work don't have time for anything remove this cell phone number from your list

purpose of the site is to post information about numbers like this so people can make others aware of harassing calls, spoofed caller IDs, telemarketers, etc. many of us check out suspicious numbers left on the caller ID here. people can post the information they find out about the telemarketing company that's calling, making it easier to file reports against them. unfortunately there are not many actions you can take to stop harassing and annoying calls. first thing is to find out as much company information as you can and report them to the Do Not Call list if your number is DNC registered. you can also send a report to the FCC for harassing telemarketer calls.

Receiving copnstant phone calls from 909-842-8166. This calls are harrassing in nature and I want them to cease and desist as they are eating up my prepaid minutes and a waste of time.

Another vehicle warranty call.  They call home, work, cell..I have asked many times to be removed but they still call.  I have reported this and the many other numbers they use to donotcall, FTC and anybody else that I can find.  Nothing is ever done about it.  Why is this scam allowed to continue with all the many complaints?

Wonderful, just got my second call from them today on my cell phone.  From what I have been reading about them, this is only going to be the start of it.  They said they wanted to extend my cars warrantee and I better call know before it runs out.  I own a crap truck I bought off a friend for $300 so its totaly a scam

I got a call from these folks today.  I let it go to VM, but there was no messagel left.

These annoying people keep calling our cell phone and hang up on us when we tell them to take us off their list.  Script: I'm calling regarding your credit card balance and the minimum payments that are going up.  It's imperative that you call me back.  You now qualify for the debt reduction allowance program......" This is incredibly frustrating these people can get away with this. Do people actual fall for it and give them personal information ??!!??

Don't waste the call without having some fun.
Here is another tactic I have used. Seem interested and then tell them to hold on. Then scream (away from the phone) "don't touch the body, this is a crime scene you idiot"  Then ask their name and how they know the victim and tell them you will be getting in touch with all the victims sex partners in view of the evidence.

NCODATA calls?  When they call tell them you are very interested, maybe mention a relative that just used their service. Interrupt the call and tell them someone is at your door and you will be right back and please hold.
Put the phone down and walk away, come back in a few minutes and if they have hung up then you hang up. I had a telemarketer hold for 30 minutes.
This won't keep them from calling but will waste their time and you will get some satisfaction.

I received a recorded call from this number offering a deal on satellite television.  I stayed on the line to speak to an agent and when I asked why they were calling when I am listed on the do-not-call list, they hung up.  I called back about a dozen times, each time I was asked if I wished to speak with a credit agent.  I was hung up on each time before finally someone with a condescending attitude would speak to me about removing my number from their list. 909 is a California area code.  The 909 area code now covers far eastern Los Angeles County and southwestern San Bernardino County, California. It contains cities such as: Colton, San Bernardino, Ontario, Fontana, Chino, and Pomona.

More of the same.  My call came from 909-842-8166 from "Wendy Park(s)".  Imperative that I return her call about my credit card balances (which are nonexistent).  Some garbage about debt consolidation.  Tried to call them at 800-716-4271 but no one answers.  Shows on caller id as NCODATA.  Reported the do not call violation.

I have two lines they called both. 1 is public 1 is not. they are 1 diget off.
That meens they are using a auto dialer. The kind used befor the "DNC" list.

With me they start with a free dish then move to CC debt.
This has to be a scam I.e.; give us your credit card #

1-909-842-8166 called and it was a recording about free dish, Press 1 to speak to a rep.
I pressed 1 and a Very thick oriental accent asked me if I wanted a satellite dish. I said I was on the Do not call list and she hung up.

Then my other line rang, caller ID 818-812-7998, Different number, Same girl!
This time I said Yes and she started asking me if I have any credit card debt,
I made her repeat herself 4 times, asked her what the hell dose that have to do with a dish.
She jabbered something and I asked if they had anybody that can speak English.
After 5 min. she got mad and hung up!

THIS idiot IS HARASSING ME FOR THE LAST 2-3 MOTHS LIKE THERE IS NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT IN OUR LIFES THAN TO NSEWR HSI STUPID MESSAGES.

Yet another call, another number used, for this company. Yesterday is was Edwin Romaro; today it was Wendy Parks; earlier this week it was Chris Somethingorother. All with different IDs, all with different call-back numbers. This time the ID was ONTARIO, CA. I've reported this company numerous times to the Do Not Call center, but because the calls are coming from Canada I don't think the US Goverment can do much about it. But I'll report them each and every time they call.
