Has called me a few times, I never answer because i thought it was verizon, but I looked it up and yeah....guess not :)

I got a 3 phone wireless set (Panasonic) for my landline that can block numbers. Just checking here to find out who might have been it. No matter, I'll add the number. End of problem (best investment ever!!!)

Keep getting a call from this number, No name is shown and no message is left by the caller. This is on both my home and cell number. Very strange as I do not give out my home number except to family.

get this cal about 3 times a week...i have dsl with verizon, but that's all, and i don't owe them anything....i'm up to date...........i don't answer, and no message is sent...........

I think it is verizon, it's the only bill we owe on right now, but I am slightly confused because they called once a day, like 3 days in a row, then nothing for a few days, and starting yesterday they have been calling my phone every couple of hours... 9:30 am, 12:30pm and again now... very annoying whoever it is... oh yeah and the number changes, same area code and first 3 digits but the last 4 digits keep changing from day to day

they call me nonstop and i get calls when im in class and its ridicolous if they need the bill paid why dont they call the head person on my account not me they dont bother anyone else on the account but me

They've called me numerous times also. My name is NOT Jillian and I'm not even a verizon customer... UGH  
I've tried the process of correcting 'their' records and either get put on hold then the call drops after a few minutes or they transfer me to the Automated bill payment system..

They have called my number numerous times.  Several hang ups, no messages, now there is an automated message. It is Verizon collecting from someone I've never heard of.  They have no way to tell them it's a wrong number and they won't stop calling!!!

Called my cell and when I picked up, they hung up. Called again, ignored the call.

They are lying to you they are saying its verizon but its not.  If you want to mess with them make sure you are on the do not call list and get a manager on the phone a get a physical address of the place and report them.

I received a call on my cell phone. When I answered, they just hung up. Then a minute later my house phone rang. Same number. I picked up. A recording said "Service Alert" Then a hang up. I tried calling back with both my house phone and cell phone.  And received a message. " This number is not in service" both times.  I then preceded to call both verizon wireless and verizon. Our phone account are with them. But are all paid on time.  After calling both, they both said it was not a verizon or verizon wireless phone number.  So don't answer.

I assure you, it is Verizon. Sometimes the automated thing messes up when it calls and nobody is there. But it IS verizon. They call me everytime my bill is due, and i just usually pay it over the phone when that number calls me with the person on the other end, since if you push a number you can talk to live person.

Just got a call from this number 5 minutes ago but couldn't get to the phone in time.  Redialed it and the recording said the number is not in service....Is this really Verizon???

This person keep calling my number and hanging up

I have been getting back-to-back cellphone and home phone calls for days, escallating in frequency. I don't answer, they don't leave a message. But it is always either home or cell first immediately followed by the other.

Been getting calls from this number 6 times a day, the only company I owe money($50.00) to is Verizon.  The peson do not leave a message and when I call back the number it is not in service, very strange

I just looked up Level 3 Communications, who someone said owns the number. They said that they lease phone numbers to other companies so it is not THEM calling. According to his database as of March 2, 2010, this number belongs to "Tools for Health". The guy at Level3 said we should write an email about this phone number to abuse@level3.com  (I cannot find a website for "Tools for Health").

daytime, nighttime, Saturdays too! it never stops. is there a device i can obtain to send a signal back to scramble their software? only right.

PHONY as a three-dollar bill. They CLAIM they're Verizon and will shut off your phone tomorrow if you don't pay balance due. Well, we have our bills paid automatically out of our checking account, so that's RUBBISH!  (Plus, Verizon assured me they'd never handle their accounts that way.) When I called the number back from Caller ID, it was a NON-WORKING NUMBER!  Take my advice:  BEWARE, THIS IS A SCAM! If you have any doubts, call Verizon back directly to handle your account. They offered this added advice: if a caller if applying deadline pressure like that, back off and don't give them any payments or personal information.  BE CAREFUL!

I just called Verizon about this number because it kept calling me.  They were able to block the number.  They think it's some sort of scam.  You can block it under "my services" on your verizon online account or call customer service and they'll do it for you.

I got one answer out of the numerous times this number has called, saying system alert, this is verizon looking to speak to ******* (I have no idea who this person is)
I just hung up....
they never leave a message and I have not tried calling.
Also I don't use verizon

They are calling my cell phone and asking for "Kathy".  They want to talk to her about her bill.  I don't even use verizon.

All you have to do is file a complaint with the FCC (Federal Communications Commission).  They will take care of the issue immediately.

This has happened to me before. Except the number was 210-984-9951. They claim to be Verizon but do not be fooled. IT IS A SCAM. When I made an actual call to Verizon, they stated they have not made those calls and they know of several customers who have received these calls. I blocked the first number and now they called me from a new one. Guess I'll need to keep blocking it or get a new number. It's quite annoying since the previous number mentioned used to call me at least 3 times a day. SO if you do call that number back, and they claim to be a verizon representative, DO NOT give them your personal information and/or credit card number. Just hang up and block the number as soon as you can.
