yes, it  was verizon wireless tech support. very nice white male from NC walked me thru setting up my wireless connection. completely walked me through programing my phone. patient and polite. I thank him. glad he is there. I agree with you. not a scam.

I just got a message from this number and it was some lady asking about an iphone i was trying to purchase...even though i wasn't. Told me to call an 800 number. Didn't introduce herself as a verizon associate.

It was a follow-up to an FCC complaint I had filed a while ago for spam to my mobile phone.  I called back and helped to provide more information for VZW to continue looking into the matter.

Got a call and they left a message, it was in response to a survey I took about the prior customer service call I made.

Sent them an email reply to a credit they owe me but won't pay. Told them they have 1 week to provide verifiable substantiation for not paying. One minute later got a call that rang for less than 1 second. No message was left on voicemail.

Previously, attempts to call their 800 customer service number were blocked by my phone. Calls from another phone to that number worked. So, the block was targeted to my phone.

I don't trust Verizon at all and am turning this collection over to my credit card company.

My daughter was trying to activate new phone at college.  Verizon called (for security purposes) to get my authorization to activate a new phone on my account.  Caller was very polite and professional.

It is Verizon Wireless.  I had emailed them with a question on my billing statement and they gave me a call back instead of emailing me back which I didn't mind at all since I had a credit on my bill and didn't know what it was for, so they called to explain.

They called me to tell me that the extended battery and cover that I was trying to purchase previously is now in stock and wanted to know if I would like to order over the phone.

I received a call from this number today. I let them leave a message. Turns out it was Verizon Wireless. They've been working on something for my cell phone. The worst part about it the message was that the guy talked like the people at the end of car commercials on the radio...so fast I could barely make out what he was saying.

The call type doesn't allow "customer service," but that's what it was.

Got a call from Verizon in response to a question I had about my account.  Professional and polite.

I got this as a test call from Verizon Wireless.  I wanted ringback tones removed from my account, and this was the number they called from to test/verify that the ringtones were removed.

This number belongs to Verizon, they called me from that number and left a message.

This number calls about two times a day, and i have not picked up but they never leave a message.

Its Verizon Wireless' corporate headquarters. Got a call form this number from the secretary of the CEO about some serious issues i was having with my phone.

Verizon Wireless custom service calling me back with a resolution to an issue I had with an accessories order I placed online. Very professional staff.

I received a call, but did not answer since I didn't reconize the number.  They left a message and it was Verizon returning a call about a problem I had a few days prior!

I got a call, it was tech support following up on an issue - no billing issue.

they called me, i'm assuming over the service issue we've been having.
the calls keep dropping, so naturally we've gotten nowhere.

I got a call from this number today.  It was verizonwireless responding to my email I had sent them the day prior.

Called me once and left a message on my voice mail for someone named "Sherry."  I use AT&T and my include my name in my voice mail message, so this baffles me.

what happened?  did the calls continue?  I've gotten the same calls and I'm a sprint customer.

No reason for Verizon to call -- I'm an ATT customer of fairly long standing === and my cell is on the do not call registry! No message left.

Problems with my brother activating his phone on my family share account.  They needed my permission in order to get it activated.

guys. it's not about the bills, it's not about any of that. if you have ever called verizon's 1-800 number for customer service, whether it be for you or for someone else, they will always call and do a follow up, just to make sure that they have done their job. this isn't a bad thing, that's excellent customer service. if you want them to stop calling, pick up and answer them and it stops. it's like magic, huh? ;)

Actually, I received a call (actually a v-mail) after making an online inquiry about my contract. The call was delievered about four or five days after my inquiry. All reqested information was provided. Sadly, at least for Verizon, I'll be jumping ship to AT&T for the iPhone.

received several calls from (910)794-6200.  Left a few messages.  same as above.  Verizon Wireless calling about my account.  However, I am a Nextel customer.  I attempted to return the call to have this company correct their information and STOP calling my cell.  However, could never get anyone on the line.  finally gave up.  I just ignore the call now.  but it does get annoying.
