Received VM identifying caller as BB&T bill pay research department with a call back number of 888-322-1065. Call was not meant for me, they had the wrong number for someone else.

FYI: i also received a call from this number today (february 28 2012). i did not answer. Thank you for posting that the caller asked a question about being a BB&T employee. I recently opened an account with them, because i was the victim of credit fraud last year, and wanted to change my information.

I believe this is a fraud. The Caller I.D. read BBANDT. The caller said she was with BB&T and wanted ask me some questions. First question: Are you and employee of BB&T? I said "No" and she said "Thank you very much" and hung up. I called the number back and got the message that the number "is no longer in service." I have notified the bank, BB&T. I will be interested to hear what they have to say.

Just received a call from 910-914-8000. I missed it so I've tried calling it back twice but I get a message that says "this number is no longer in service". When I Googled the number, there are several sites regarding problems with this particular phone number.

This number keeps calling my phone. They call around 5 times a day! They don't leave a message though.
