This call is originating from the SE part of North Carolina in the US.

I received the same message, after push "1" the line was cutted, did you call back?

got a call from this ## on dec.26,2007 at 19:45.

couldnt understand which language it was sounded like Spanish.

hi fyi...my bluetooth was on perhaps that's how these people get our info? just a guess. but turn your blue tooth off for safety

this also happened to us got called at 7:37 p.m on 12/26/07. tried to call back a machine answered and cut off.

They called me this morning.....I didnt pick up

Just missed (luckily) a call from this number on my cell phone.  Have no idea who it is.

Got the call from the number 910 923 9898 about 20 minutes ago, called it back and was disconnected.  Im w t-mobile

I'm wondering what you have to do to "fall for" this scam

I answered, heard a spanish recording, called back and said "this number is not in service".  Ticked me off.

this happened to me too, it reall pisses me off.  I dont know how the hell they get our numbers

My GF also got the call from the 910-923-9898. Good thing for us both, we speak spanish... This is an Actual Phone Phishing scam. The call is originating from the Phone Exchange: 910 923 - Clinton, North Carolina 28328.

I found 2 missed calls from same number last night. Didn't try to call back. I am with Rogers, Toronto.

this is pretty hilarious how up to date this scam really is..
I'm on Telus in vancouver BC and i got the call from 910.923.9898 @ 6:17pm tonight, didn't answer, glad i didn't heh.

got the call at 7:30 vancouver time, with a rogers cell phone. by the time i tried to pick up the call, it disconnected.

i got the same call too... i call back but with my resiential phone and it said that the number was not in service but i saw that some of you wrote that we had to pay expensive fee for the call back .... even if they say that the number was not in servic or only if someone answer????

Hmmm, guess I'm not the only googler here. I got this call too and didn't answer, but as I'm from NC myself, I was curious. Called the number back and it said it was disconnected, then I found this little site...

I got a call from 910-923-9898 at 7:28 tonight but did not answer.
I also got one from 502-510-9898 at 7:28 5 days ago...

i just got that same cal like 10 min ago.
