We set up an appointment and a guy came out and showed us how to save money on our electric bill and also how to apply for rebates from the government!  We were skeptical but there was no scam.

Please please report these people to the Georgia Governor's Office of Consumer

I received a second call from Ryan at 770-687-8141 wanting to set up an appointment.  I told him I felt the Electric Power Association was a scam and that I have reported the calls to the FTC.  I hung up.

They may also use the name "Electric Power Association" based on a call I got this morning from
770-656-3089.  Same stupid offer about $3800 in government money and wanting to make an appointment for an energy audit to qualify.

Do not agree to an appointment!  This is a scam.

Said they were an energy service that by sending tech. by would be able to show me how to get in on government energy programs.

Please must stop these phone calls. do not know why calling. never have talked to them .they never speak. just keep calling

It's a page at the Georgia Attorney General's website that gives instructions for reporting telemarketing calls in violation of the National and Georgia Do Not Call lists.  It gives links to report them to the FCC (which I have now done) as well as to the Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs.

Got a phone call from this number today.  I could hear the call center background noise, but despite my saying "hello" two times and pausing, there was no answer, just breathing and then they hung up.  Got the number using *69.  I've gotten multiple calls from Energy Concepts (per the note above, this appears to also be another of their numbers) and have asked them 3 times to stop calling.  The other number we've gotten calls from was 770-687-8141.  They refuse to quit calling, and call me every 1 to 3 days despite my explicit requests to be removed from their list.  They are very rude and pushy when they do answer.  Our phone number has been on the national do not call list for years.
