I did the online complaint with the IC people. I have to wait till Monday to do the other things. What is the LE place your suggesting???

File the report through IC3 online.  And as for your local LE.. they can take a report. Your being jerked around thats a given here. Contact your state Attorney General, you can google them, and tell them your being jerked around on this whole thing and also about being told to sue the real company's.

I'm sorry to hear that - the fact is, your callers are scammers and not working for any company, so your chance of even finding them to sue them is minuscule.  I attached a link to federal benefits programs which may or may not be able to help you.  You may also want to try the Salvation Army for help with rent.  I don't know which state you live in, so I'm sure there are other programs out there - or charities - local to your area which could help also.

Your right thru do have such a accent. I'm a big fool over this but I was desperate in need of money to get my dialysis needles paid for, plus whatever other things I needed to live on. I went to my local police dept and wanted to file a report because the FBI Dept said I have to buy the police department said they don't file such reports. Their suggestion was that I take the actual company that this man claimed to work at to court and sue them for allowing online loans under their names. I'm just getting the run around from everybody including law enforcement

Rules:

1.  No reputable lender is going to lend you money over the phone or by e-mail.   On line applications are suspect as well.  

2,  Upfront fees are illegal in most American states.  

3.  Never send funds to people you don't personally know.  

I've read a lot of these entries made by people who've fallen for these scams.  The scammers are located in India and I suspect they, like the predators they are,  pick the most vulnerable.   If they have information you once applied for an on-line loan or payday loan, they will come after you.   This is especially true for single women, single mothers, the elderly and members of the immigrant community.   Anybody they think might be vulnerable or  have financial difficulties or who might not be financially savvy.  

Fact is, if you receive a call from someone with an Indian accent either offering you something or threatening you, you can be 100% sure that it's a scam.  Nothing against Indians as a rule, but that's the way it is nowadays.

Advance fee loans are illegal period and in some states so are payday loans.  Since he sent you emails, I recommend that you get those to the FBI via their cyber crimes division @ IC3 and also the FTC.

I also had 924$ stolen from James Anderson but he also goes by the name James Cooper at two other numbers. One is 768 738 5007 & 716 2222715, at the two other numbers he calls the company Cash Advance America with a email address of cash advance32@gmail.com.  He sent me two emails stating that I would receive the money after the refundable fees were paid via money pak card. Letter head was Cash America he signed it James Copper Loan Officer. When you call the 912 number the same man answers the phone but uses James Anderson then changes it to James Cooper and states more money is needed to obtain the loan. I mention the email and other calls to him during the day he responded with he never sent me a email but somehow during the conversation he refers back to it. I have no money now for my dialysis, rent, food so I'm looking at living on the streets now.

I also was called and promised a 3500 dollar loan.  I did not purchase the cared he wanted for 349.00.  I was ripped off 1500.00 dollars from another company with the same crap.

this man (James Anderson) kept calling me and made this company sound so good and yes i was stupid and gave this man 495.00 of my paycheck and left my family of 7 with nothing.  all the meanwhile im thinking I'm getting 3500.00.  please be aware of this number and don't let him take advantage of your family as he done me and mine.
