i always get a call from this number but when trying to call back the number is not connected. Sometimes they leave a partial voicemail message.

Turn Macb  into the Federal Trade Commission.  They definately do break federal trade laws.  Employees know that their supervisors are breaking the law and they continue to assist them anyway. They make employees study the fair trade act during training and then when the employees schedule payments with you the manager ignores the payment schedule the employee made with the customer and the full amount out at once,  Definately illegsl.  If more people would turn companies like this into the FTC MACB would soon be out of business.  I hope one of their employees also becomes a wistle blower.

This company contacted my mom, because that was the last number they had. Someone named  Julie called and when my mom gave me the information I called right back. Instead I got someone named Robert Jones, who said that I had a payday loan from 2001 that I owed on. He started reciting information and I was like that is incorrect! Needless to say, I did not admit to any personal information. I am closing all accounts and changing information. What scumbags!!!

These people told me that if I gave them my credit card just to keep from having any interest building then I would be ok. My "bill" was $420 and they took out 430 and I didn't even give them permission. I have the conversation on TAPE!! I'm going to my lawyers office this week when he gets back from out of town. The person I spoke with was Brett and he specifically stated in the call that my credit card would not be charged until I called back later THIS WEEK to make a payment!!! He even states the date on the call.

You could not have taken a payday loan out with Midamerica. They are not a lender...Just a collection agency

i had a payday loan taken out with macb mid america and first i got contacted by a christina was very nasty at first to me and tnen by a micheal chad who i made arrangements to pay off a 400 dollar loan and i made a payment every two weeks and finaly pay off the the loan recently someone new has tryed to contact me from this company and i have all my confirmation numbers and payments on my car i will sue the companty if they keep harrasing me

my question is didi you pay the company back? and can they really send you to jail for this!!

Before you criticize the education level of other people, you should proof read your own comments and learn the proper usage of their, there, and they're.

You know I don't know the education level of the people on here but I would have to say it is pretty low. If you people are so concerned with looking up numbers before you actually pick up a phone and call them back, maybe you need to re-evaluate the way you take care of your personal matters. These people are jsut doing there job and working for a living...maybe you should all take hede and do the same thing.

I got a call from (913) 307-0551 telling me to call back. That it was urgent about papers filed against me and only left a number (no name or company name) I googled this number and found it is somebody trying to collect money from me for a pay day loan, which I have never actually done. I do not want them calling me back.

This Christina not very pleasant to deal with.  Very rude.

Hi...I just got a message from the receptionist here. I've been geeting calls from random numbers this time it was 913-307-0551, They said it was a guy named Douglas?? Curious- same as you I had a pay day loan and I paid it back, I think I might have paid it back more than once. And another time i actually sent i believe an additional 100bucks moneygram, because they said it could onlly be money gram or someone would come get me!! My BF says NEVER EVER do that! They also refuse to say which company they are representing. And then money just kept being taken from my account, until finally someone suggested that I close that account, which I had no choice....My BF and his attorney say this is definitely a scam. But unfortunately they managed to still take at least 1000bucks from me! good luck to all, myself included. Don't call back!

Got a message on my work phone from this number, it was a lady named Christina calling from Mid America Credit, she said it was urgent that I called her because there was a issue with my SSN#. I'm thinking to myself, "my SSN#"? I didn't call back because I thought it was some type of scam and why would they call my work number.... I see the above comments where someone said that they collect for a payday loan. I did have one but I stopped paying and closed that account down because random companies kept taking money out of my account through them. It would be like $6.95 here and $24.95 there for stuff like credit protection insurance when I never signed up for it and then they don't offer refunds..

They are one of the collection agencies for payday loan companies.  Beware as if they are able they will take money out of your account forever.  Even after paid back.
