Call IDd Kansas. Picked up, could hear someone was on the line, I didn't say anything, they hung up.

913 397-0998 This phone # calls me several times a day never leaving no message.

I just got a brand new phone number and I am getting calls from Tennil Shorter 913-397-0998 within a day. I don't owe any bills,period...this has to be random number calling from a computer.
I just called Comcast and they told me how to block their number so you guys might want to try blocking them...unless you are going for a lawsuit of course.

I've gotten these calls for the last few days
They call every hour and I haven't gotten any response when calling back.
For those who are saying it's a real debt you owe, I have no credit cards and no bank account, I am under 18 and have no bills I pay monthly, therefore no debt.
They tarck new phone numbers.
I am the only one who gets these calls in my household and I got my first phone a few months ago.

I've been receing calls from this number for the past week.  I finally picked tonight and a very rude man came on the line asking for my husband.  I asked him to state his business and I would pass the phone to my husband.  He said he didn't have business with me and only with my husband and asked me to confirm the last four of my husband's social security. I said no, it was private and he said he had it right in front of him anyway.  He never said my husband's name by the way.  We ended up in a war of words and then my husband hung up on him.  Never stated his business and we have no outstanding balances on anything - everything is up to date.  I am going to have this number blocked tomorrow!!

WOW!!!!!!!! I just googled the number and I found all you who also are being bugged! ?? yah I might be behind in a few bills but bugging us like they do is not helping!! I hate to hear my phone ring. This number actually calls once than calls right back?

i had a call form them although it was my grandma that answered the phone,it was an actual person who spoke to my grandma npt a voice recording or anything but they didnt say anything about there reasoning for calling.
but i figured it had something to do with some kind of collection agency!

I have received 5 calls in the last hour from someone at the number.
As per many other comments listed here, there is no one there when I say hello.
How can we stop there unwanted calls.

The number belongs to Encore Receivable Management, INC (ERMI)  They are a collection agency.  Started receiving five calls a day.  Then it dropped to one.  They won't give up.  The person they're looking for hasn't lived here for over a year.  They did some kind of search and came up with our number because my son and my husband have the same name.  Filed two complaints with the FTC.  The paperwork for the Attorney General goes in the mail today.

I am getting calls from this number avery 3 hours or so for the last day.  They never leave a message and when I call back the it is a dis-connected number.

Well if any of you happen to see this. I have looked up the number. I belive its an auto calling number. It is connected to a bank in Kansas City. I have found a number that is real if you wish to call them. The number that call me is (913-397-0998) the real number i have found is (913-856-3200). Oh and if you wanted to know I belive they dont talk because we are not saying Hi to the bot right, or the program that is listing in to you. I hope this helps.

These people keep calling us too but no one answers, they just stay on the line quietly. I already filed a complain in the do not call registry website. I hope they stop calling now.

We are currently in default with a credit card.  We've been making payments, but it's "not enough" according to the creditor.  We've been current with them for 10 years, but a catastrophic illness in the family changed our finances for about the last 8 months.  We even called them first to negotiate a lower payment.  These people start calling at 8:01 and cease at 9:00 PM.  They call every 8-11 minutes and never leave a message.  We were going to really try and work things out but they have been so abusive that we've decided to file for bankruptcy.  We owe a lot on our house so they won't take it and it's worth the $600 to use frankly.  We have a friend of the family who is going to do the bankruptcy for $600 total. The day we file, next week, they won't be able to call us anymore.  I can't WAIT for that moment!  Instead of working out a payment plan and repaying our debt fairly, we're going to stick them with the whole amount for being abusive towards us.  We even told them that someone here is on chemo and she said that she couldn't care less, her job to was to harass us until we pay, and pay it all.  Nice people huh?  In the meantime, we just keep our ringer off because we really don't use the landline much anyway.  We just call out on it.  Family and friends know how to get in touch with us in other ways.

I only know of ONE debt I owe (over the limit card), and that is my Wal-Mart credit card! I keep getting calls from 913-397-0998 and I think it is Wal-Mart credit card people. They are the only people I can think of who would be trying to reach me....

so for like two weeks i have been getting 7 or 8 calls a day from 913-397-0998 and when i answer there was no one there my response to that is usually "ill put you on speaker if you want to say some thing go ahead" i put the phone on speaker and set it down there is usually a dial tone in about a minute these calls would go for some time 5 minutes with nothing but dead air and then i would finally get a dial tone well today there was some one there and and he asked for a female's name so i handed the phone to my wife and she asked who the were encore recievables and they were calling about her "tweeter new england account" and when she said they had the wrong number they got all defensive and said the guy who answerd the phone said you were mary she responded with no he simply said hold on and handed me the phone so i could figure out who keeps calling 5 to 10 times a day and not saying anything he hung up.

They called and I got to talk to someone.  We had a bill at "World Market" that they were trying to collect.  We paid it in full but complained that they weren't talking to us or leaving a message when they called.  They were trying to tell me that it was the computerized calling device that was hanging up when it detected no answer.

This number call's 6 to 7 times a day 7 day a week and never left a message. When calling that # back, it say's its not a working number.

I get calls from this number, 913-397-0998 7 days a week every 45 minutes beginning at 8:02 am and ending at 8:45 pm. I have answered 3 times. One time a girl answered looking for someone I don' even know,I told her she got the wrong number, she apologized and hung up. Later on the day I continued to receive calls from that number again. The following day the calls continued, I answered the second time and a guy asked for somebody else, I asked him for his name and he refused to tell me, I then asked him for the name of his company and he refused to tell me. I got so frustrated and started yelling at him and told him I had already told his co-worker they had the wrong number. He then told me to lower my voice, he wil not tolerate my tone and he will hang up. I went off on him and then hung up. The third time I answered, I immediately asked for a supervisor and was told there was no supervisor at the moment. I asked for the name of the company and after a few moments of silence they told me it was Encore. Every time I call the number back, the machine said I have reached an invalid number.

This tennil shorter is calling me starting today.  I googled it and found this website.  I called QVC and they don't have any idea what "tennil shorter" is.  They don't have any idea who I am or what that phone number may be.

These guys are notorious scumbags of the debt collection industry, which isn't exactly full of shining lights.  Feel free to report them to the FTC and your local attorney general's office as well.  Calling every hour on the hour days on end is clearly a harrassing tactic.
