I answered a call from Bill Shears today.  He asked for the mailing/physical address of my company.  He got very defensive when I asked why he wanted this information.  He told me he had to mail some information to my location.  I told him to get the address from the same place he got the phone number.  He asked me where that was, and I told him he could get a mailing address from the internet.  He demanded to know my name and position with the company.  When I told him that I am the Security Supervisor for this company, his attitude changed, and he asked how he was supposed to verifiy employment on someone.  I gave him the phone number of the 3rd party vendor that this company uses.  He hung up before I could give him the company code that is needed to get the verification information.  I wonder if he will call me back?

This is an additional, updated post. I have done a lot of tracking today, and the company is RSH and Associates not RFH. They claim to be a "Christian" collection agency (refer to their website). The owners name is Randy Hairgrove according to the Secretary of State's website, and their physical address is 14635 West 95th Street, Lenexa, KS 66215. Their main number is 913-948-6750 or 888-RSH-6750. Their PO Box is 14515, Lenexa, KS. 66215. Their e-mail is info@rshandassociatesllc.com in case you want to opine about their collection tactics.

I received a phone call from RFH and Associates on 08/22/2013; the person I spoke to was Bill Shears. They initially left a message on my call notes stating they were attempting to collect a debt in my name, which is not legal for a 3rd party collection agency to divulge on a machine--anyone could retrieve the message. I called Bill Shears back, and he states that I owe the remainder amount that Humana Choice PPO failed to pay. I advised him that my insurance is responsible for the amount, all I owe is the $10 co-pay, and that they obviously have made a billing mistake, since Humana PPO Choice has paid amounts worked out with in-network providers. I told him not to call me again, he began to argue with me, and I finally terminated the phone call by hanging up on him. I called back and asked for their physical address in order to report them to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Attorney General, and the BBB. He refused to give me their full address until I demanded to speak to the operations director (supposedly Nick Carraway). He was equally rude. If you are having problem with them, I'd suggest reporting them as well.

Has been calling for at least a year and I'm sick of it. I don't know who maria chavez is but she sure owes them some money.

Called and left a message.  The computer that called said they are RSH (or RFH)  & Associates.  Hard to tell which when a computer calls you.  If you are not the person they are asking for, then call (866) 751-3158.  If you are the person, they have a very important and private message just for you.  You will have to wait 3 seconds to ensure your privacy as this call is related to private financial information.  Then the computer says that this is a call from RSH or RFH & Associates and that Bill Shears is needing to contact you and for you to call (913) 948-6764.

Called and left a automated voicemail with my name. Never said who they were with.
