Other people's debts are not mine and this is not even Client Services debt, it is a debt they bought.  Well good luck in collecting it.   I have spent a lifetime being sure my bills are paid and I should not have to put up with phone calls like this day and night.  I actually have now unplugged my phone and have it on a separate caller ID device so I can check and then call back those who I want to talk to.   One person a week ago, told me that she had gone on the internet and found out that our daughter  had lived with us and her name was the name they were looking for.  Our daughter has not lived at home for over 6 years and has been married for 2 and living in another state with her husbands name.  The bill was for a doctor that some other person with my daughter's maiden name ran out on for her son in another state other than where we live or where our daughter lives.   These people  go  online and start picking names they are looking for and then harass them because thy can no matter what state you live in. Scum of the earth.

Keep getting calls from this number trying to reach someone with a name similar to mine. Has called my number and my husbands. Mailed bills to the house and told them they had the wrong person and address. Said they would correct this and then started getting the phone calls. Have told them on numerous occasions they have the wrong person and wrong number. All my bills are paid and up to date. Really getting tired of this.

I got call from this number. So, I asked her to provide her company. But , she did not. She just ask my name. Why people do so stupid thing.

They can NOT call you neighbours - there's a law suit in the making if they do.

just got a call from this number, no msg... googled it and found these posts... I would guess that someone being harassed by these people should contact legal counsel.  particularly if they are calling neighbors.  most credit counselors have attorneys on staff, and many credit counselors are govt. subsidized, so talking to one would be low cost if not free.   at a minimum, send a letter to your state attorney general's office reporting the company and tactics. if they get enough letters, they will look into the company. (and now I'm wondering which neighbor is struggling?)

Calls have come every day for a couple of weeks. Mine is a phone used exclusively for business. Very annoying, I do not answer when I see the number.

I used to work there-they are at college blvd about  5 blocks west of pflumm on the left hand side of the Road
in the building that once was  a psch hospital.there are RULES they as collectors,HAVE to follow or they CAN be Sued..like- if you say you have the wrong number no one lives here by that Name and they call again-if they threaten you in any way-you CAN sue them. google it :-)   they will talk to your neighbors and say things like -i was looking for john smith you know john? yeah well there is an emergency and we cannot locate his #-someone is hurt can you have him call me@ this # or they get your Number. they find people by a thing called nexuslexus  and they go to linked in and to spokeo. BUT there are things that they CANNOT DO-look it up!!  There ARE LAWS. I just thought i'd share this info with you.

I don't have debts to be collected,just student loans.  Do they know who I am?

Number keeps calling. Haven't picked up, just yet, but after reading the reports on here, I'm half tempted to. Won't get me anywhere to tell them off, but at least it'll make me feel good on the inside.
Same story as everyone else: calls, doesn't leave a message. I know nobody in Kansas, and the only person I know who's from Kansas is barely even an acquaintance, so they have no reason to call me to contact her. Something tells me it's a scam of some sort, but I'm not entirely sure just yet.

Sounds like a extortion scam operation.. other posters also indicate that this may be what it is.

Someone called my son from this number and left a voicemail wanting to know my whereabouts. They make it sound like they are police wanting to know the "whereabouts" of a criminal. I have no idea who they are because in the message there was only a return number to call. No one is going to call anyone back that is a threatening or abusive caller. Nor is anyone going to call someone back that they don't know they are.

Relative of mine was left a voicemail wanting to know the" whereabouts of  (my name).."....Acting like they were in search of me. They left this number but no name. Message came across like they were in search of a criminal or someone who broken the law....with their authoritative voice. Whom ever it is is harassing my relative. If they do it again I will report them to police and may file charges against them.

multiple phone calls...............i star 67 it off to local police..........i am not nice when they call my unlisted private phone and i am disabled...........put it in the mail........for me, in my state, it is a one party consent...........so i just say U called me and I recorded you..........usually stops it.............

This number call my cell phone and my home phone but did not leave message.
The Today show had on a scam where bogus people would call you and when they did not
leave a message, when you call them back you get charged $100-200 to your phone bill by calling
this number back. So I recommend to all that you don't call back numbers that you don't
know or that is not in area codes you are used to.

These people contacted me regarding my mother. Little do they know I won't be giving my mother any information from their shady company if they need to speak to my mother they will call her phone number or nail her a letter.

They have been calling us to.  The number they leave is 877-665-3302 ext 58094, Mr. Tom Merad.  They call everyday, several times... It gets annoying!

Google Fair Debt Collection... The United States code bars any collection agencies from further contact if you tell them verbally and in writing. If you do it in writing sent certified and with a return receipt(meaning someone signed for it) any further contact can result in them having to pay you $1000.00 per call, attorney's fees, etc. Good info.

It is US law that a debt collector CAN NOT contact any one but you for a debt. If they are calling neighbors they have to first state WHO they are, WHY they are calling and by doing so they are disclosing YOUR DEBT info.

If a neighbor is contacted, have them provide something in writing and file a complaint with the FCC and if you can file a law suit against the zombie debt collection agency.

They called me and asked for a woman who I think used to live down the road from me.  I didn't answer, but they left a message.  I don't see how they can call people that live near someone. I'm not responsible for what other strangers do and certainly consider it none of my business.  They should not involve innocent bystanders. Shady business practices at best.

This number called me and asked for someone I never heard of. I told them they had the wrong number. She asked if I knew that person at all, I told them no. she said she would take my number off the list. What makes me madder than anything is they called my cell phone and that cost ME minutes.

They have been calling me everyday for about a week and a half.  They are saying they are calling to clear up a debt.  A man named Scott Brown from Client Services Incorporated.  And they tell me to return the call to 877-288-0504 ext 58271.

and the DO NOT CALL LIST continues to FAIL! ......where is the funding for this scam coming from?

Stop calling me this has been taken care of this is harrassment its been reported to better business bureau
