This is a scam to get your credit card information do not give them any information.

Ok, folks, it's time for a little Live Free or Die (make that kill) justice.  Does anyone have information on the Federal arm that would handle fraudulent callers like these?  

More than likely someone is using a call center from India (ya think?) and are paying these folks for information they receive from phishing results.  Even if they get one person to hand over their personal data per 1,000 calls they make, the recipient of this compiled information can reap big financial gains by either selling the information that is illegally obtained or use it themselves for identify theft.

Since this is focusing on NH lately, perhaps we can all send a note to WMUR asking them to investigate this - give  them a chance to become heroes.  You can submit a news article to WMUR at this link; http://www.wmur.com/contact/index.html or mailto:newspics@wmur.com - the more of that do this - the better chance at a snowball affect and even if this is coming from India/Pakistan - there could be a mastermind in the U.S. that we can get put behind bars.

I received a call this afternoon from this company. It was an Indian guy asking me if I wanted to lower my interest rate, and wanted me to verbally confirm what credit cards I have and with whom, and the amount of my debt. I asked him where her received his information about me, and he said they got it from Equifax, and then asked me if I've ever heard of them. Of course I had, and asked him what the name of his company was. He said 'card services for visa mastercard bank of america chase bank. I asked him for his company name and business phone number, as they are required to provide them. He began rudely telling me that they didn't have to, and I repeated my request, stating that they are required to provide that information per federal law. I then told him that I am on the do not call list, and he told me that it doesn't apply to him as he wasn't selling anything. I told him that he was an unsolicited caller phishing for personal information and that he is required to give me his business name and phone number. He then asks why I'm not interested in lowering my interest rates, mumbled something, and hung up. Scum.

I just received the prerecorded message from this number and pressed 9 to speak to an operator. When  I asked them to take my name off their list and stop calling my home the man with a heavy accent dropped the F Bomb at me and told me to Eat "Excrement" and Die.

Nope, no surveys filled out.  They use auto-dialers that just keep calling numbers at random.  I got a call from them a few weeks ago so at least today I didn't hear the phone (set that number to a silent ringtone).

How many of you filled out the "American Community Survey".  I'd like to find out if that is where they got the listing of our numbers.

i got a call from #914-000-0003...i pressed 9 to speak to someone, so i could ask them not to call

they asked if i had a credit card VISA, i said no...they harrassed me and said i am lying and harrassed me...i blocked their number...anyone that gets a call from this number #914-000-0003 BLOCK THEM IMMEDIATELY, this is not a bogus call...and the person did sound indian or such

I just wanted them to stop calling so I pressed 9 . The guy at the other end of the line sounded a bit robotic. He then asked my name and asked me my age (none of his business)  .  He then proceeded to tell me over and over again, I love your voice, I am in love with your voice. I hung up in disgust. The ID came through as Name Not Found. But is was Rachel again from Credit Card Services.

I hit "zero" and let it ring. Went to a guy apparently from India who I politely asked "Can you do me a favor and remove me from your call list?" and his response was "can you kindly give me a b*** job"!!

This is a scam.  The person I spoke to when I asked not to be called anymore told me this once I told him I would get my husband a NH State Trooper up to speak with him.  He also informed me that my husband and the NH Attorney General couldn't do "s***"  his exact words.

Prank call, just bogus crap

Seems to be a scam targeting New Hampshire citizens.  Caller ID reads "NEW YORK CALL".

am yet another NH resident who has been called from this number - like Michelle i do not respond to numbers i don't recognize - since the "do not call" list appears to be useless in cases like this i would think the best thing to do is just to continue ignoring the calls -

After getting a live operator, I used an Attwood signal horn (good for boats up to 39.4 feet). After that, I am glad my mom wasn't here, as she would have washed my mouth out with soap ;-)

I am also a NH resident. I have receiving calls from this number as well. I don't pick up the phone to numbers I don't know. I was a little curious because of all the zeros. I happened to be at my boyfriend's house one morning and was very surprised that this same number showed up on his caller ID. Decided to look on line and found this site. We should all just ignore the calls and maybe they will give up.

I'm another New Hampshire resident who got the same call -- they must have been robo-calling the 603 area code this month.  I didn't answer as it was an obviously fake number.  There is no way to make them stop -- they are criminals so why would we think the do-not-call list would mean anything to them?  I just add them to my ILLEGAL CALLS "contact" on my cell phone, which has a silent ringtone.  That works until they change the phone number that shows up, which they do frequently.

I am at the point where I am going to change my default ringtone to silent and give a "real" ringtone only to people whose numbers I know.

Okay just called that # and it's a recording that says "technical difficulties, goodbye"

Got a call from that number again today. I pressed 9 to get the operator to kindly asked to be removed from their list again. The guy continued to try and get me hooked so I said I was going to repeat myself "F@#$" off.

I did some looking into this "Card Services" and found that it is a company from Florida that uses VIOP so they can change there number making it so you can't call them back. The company is Leverage Connection at 1-866-646-8102. Christopher Rubini is the president. I have yet to call that number to complain.

I to am from NH and on the do no tcall list. I've reported it several times but didn't know that the # on my caller id was a bogus #.

I got calls from Rachel using many different numbers. I wait till they ask if I want to speak to  represenative, I poiltly say yes.   At the same time I take the cordless extention over to the deck phone, as soon as I hear the rep say hello, I make some polite talk and then put the wireless phone up to the corded handpiece, the caller then gets a very loud blast of electrical feedback ! : )

Got a call from this number but there was no message.  I live in NH which strikes me more than coincidence since there seems to be many here from NH who have reported this number.

Londonderry NH - rec'd a call from this # Cardholder services to lower my interest rate. Again, I am on the DoNotCall list.  I do NOT have a credit card balance so I don't need to lower my interest rate. Stop wasting my time TELEMARKETERS AND SCAM ARTISTS.  You are pathetic losers.

Received call on 03/10/2012.  Have received many other calls of this sort.  Hung up immediately.  I plant to get a Falcon air horn and inform these callers that the air horn will be used in the future if they do not stop calling.

The first time I got one of these calls I assumed it was for my phone number's previous owner who, apparently, did not pay his bills on time.  However, then they started calling every few days and leaving a message on  my answering machine.  Today, I happened to be home so I pressed "9" to speak to someone.  Yup, it took a few moments to connect my call to India where, upon hearing my irate request to remove me from the mailing list, the "agent" hung up.  Guess I will continue to get these calls forever.  Does anyone know how to make it stop?

Received a call today from this number, pressed 9 and was connected to an "agent" who sounds as if he was from...yeah, India. I insisted first that he remove our number. Just like above, he said he couldn't do that. When I said I wanted information on his company before I would share information on my company, he asked, "What do you not understand about us saving you some money? Why won't you do this? Experian told us to call. Do you KNOW Experian?" We went back and forth for a bit andI was passed over to whom I assume was his manager who went through some of the same spiel. When I asked for information on his company...again...this manager told me to "stop being dumb..." I didn't get the rest of it; just hung up. While I was being berated for my ignorance, I did a quick look up and saw these posts. Glad to know I'm in good company with a lot of other "dumb" people. Sheesh.

Received a call from this number - female named Michelle Francis, indian accent.  Called to lower my cc interest rate.  I called my cc company & they advised that they had not called me.  Definitely a phishing expedition to steal personal information.  I have reported this call to my local police and have also registered a complaint with the federal government online.  I will be watching my finances closely as this woman knew too much.

Didn't answer. Believe it is cardholder services again claiming to be able to lower my credit card rate. I have no credit cards. I have asked them several times to stop calling and have been on the government dnc list for a long time. They obviously are scamming, because they are not working within the law. Probably the same people that were running the car warranty scam a while back, because as soon as those calls stopped, these ones started. Not sure how to stop them as they constantly call from different numbers.
