I did not talk to the caller, as I was in class.  I noticed he/she called twice in a few minutes.  Of course, no voicemail was left.  Is there a hacker out there that is collecting info on people using Amazon?  I just started selling on Amazon... I noticed in the comments regarding this weird number, people mentioned that the guy claims to be from Amazon.

Man sounded like he was from India. claim to have a charge on Discover card from Amazon.com and wanted to verify. I called Discover Card and reported the incident. In addition, there were 3 more zeros on the end of the telephone number on my caller ID. Told  me to call 877-243-2913 to verify. Beware...

same thing here..  Guy from india said he wanted to get a verification on my identity.  I called him out and said I believed him to have hacked my number.  Claimed to be Amazon.com.  I knew better and divulged nothing.  However my card is cleaned out!!!

Caller indicated that a charge was made on my credit card and they wanted to verify the order to amazon.com.. I replied no. The caller (sounded like someone from India) stated that they would cancel the order. I have reported the incident to my credit card company.
