Also Claimed to be Mark Adams I told him to remove my number off his call list. He cursed me out told me "f*** me and my mother" how can I find out what company this call came from.

Also claimed to be a "Mark Adams" but from some insurance company or something. Claimed that my loans have been approved (never applied for any) and to get in touch with him. Also was asking for some guy named Daniel so he had the wrong number anyway.

This number keeps calling me telling me if I dont pay $500 their will be a warrent out for my arrest... I flipped out on the guy the other day he called my cell phone 7 times in a row within 2 minutes then 6 times in a row within 1 minute and 10 times in a row within 2 minutes he dosent leave me alone I told him I will get him for harrassment..... He told me I have to send my money through either western union or money in minutes to an attorney in georgetown Delaware

I forgot to mention they called me twice on March 15th... Once at 10:28 edt (Same completely exact message as above without the "behind bars" bit.) I'm still not sure what a "swarrant" is! The second time was at 2:07 edt.

Same thing happened to me. Now I know I have various debts, some of which being with some very bad shady payday or internet loans... something I've been working on cleaning up for the last year and a half.  However those companie sell your personal information often including the last four digits of ssn. It's illegal but I know they do it because of the number of scam phone calls I've received.

This one topped the cake.  To claim to be an NYPD officer is so incredibly offensive to me, I know there are so many people out there who sadly would believe their message and get very scared.  It drives me crazy that in our amazing country, the govt/police can't seem to stop these people.  I looked online and this same scam has used several different police names, police depts and phone numbers for at least the last four years. They also are connect to YMAX Communications Corp that have also had several complaints and even lawsuits filed against them and yet they are still in business.

I filed a complaint with the FTC but not sure how much good that will do since their was no money exchanged. I saved the voicemail and will be happy to email it to anyone who wants. Below is word for word the call:
"This message is intended for R_ R__. R_, this is Sergt. Mark Adams from NYPD, New York Police Department and we are trying to reach you because we are having another swarrant against your name and against your social security number. So just get back to me at my number which is 914-210-4750. I repeat it, 9142104750 so we can go forward (further?) to resolve this matter. R_, do not disregard this message because you will be arrested and be behind the bars. Until then, goodbye and have a great day."

My personal favorite line from the non-native english speaker is that I'll "be behind THE bars".  Right.

This is a scam and is illegal. If you receive a call from these people attempt to record the call, make note of the number and request an address from them.  Contact the Police and make a Police Impersonation Complaint.

This guy called my mother and my brother first stating he was a NYPD police officer and that if I didn't contact him he would not just arrest me but also my mother and brother. I am no idiot I know he is the one breaking the law here posing as an officer of the law to start with and then making threats and harassing family members. He lied to my brother saying I had put him down as a reference. This guy is very shady and down right crooked.

Same thing happened to me. Left a message on my phone. Some Indian guy claiming to be Sgt. Mark Adams of the NYPD and that there was a warrant out for me if I didn't pay off $420.00.  Total scam.

DO NOT PAY THEM,"IT IS A SCAM"  Sgt Mark Adams is not a real cop, I have been called by this person 35 times in the past 3 years, Give this info to your local police dpt. I have reported this scam to the FTC (Federal Trade Com.) you should to. Make sure you report it to your police dpt, It Is A Scam....

I got a call from this number and tould me i need to pay 320.00 if i do not pay he will have a wanted  out for me

This guy keep call me and tell me that in need to sand him $320.00 for a pay day lone and if i do not sand him the $320.00 he will eachuinn me a warent out for me

Called me 12 times today. Told me I have warrants for internet loans I've never had. Gave his info to the lawyer at the company I work for

This person call me and tould me that i have 4 charges on me for my loans i have not pay and if i did not pay 600.00 i tould hem i do not have it if i did not pay it there was a warrent out for me i tould him i can sand him 300.00 on 2/8/12 and i have tell 3/1/13 to sand the other 329.00 on 3/1/13 if i do not sand it he is going to put that Warrent out for know it is lefted intell the 3/1/13 i have to pay the other money call me nypd
