I, too, have received way too many calls.  I tried calling them and got a busy signal. I went to marchofdimes.com, contact us, optout and left a message. This is supposed to work.  I hope so. Good luck!

I, too, have received multiple daily calls from the March of Dimes, from the Peekskill number and others.  I went to the site and put our info on a do-not-call list. I keep hoping...but so far, no luck.

I have been receiving 2-3 calls daily from the March of Dimes....very annoying.  I will NEVER donate again, which is quite sad since I have been donating for approximately 40 years!  I can't understand why they harrass people with these inundating phone calls.  Don't they realize that when they make these calls that it turns people off and they feel as I do....will NEVER donate again???!!!

By the way, they have more than one phone number.  They called me from 914-740-1891 and 914-740-1893.

I also get 5 calls a day, every day of the week from the hours of 8:15am to 10:30pm.   This has been going on for 4 weeks now.

I have answered the phone in attempts to speak to someone but no one ever speaks.   This morning I finally gone a girl to talk to me and I let her have it.  I also told her I will never donate to MOD ever and what is really sad is that I do donate yearly, every spring when my neighbor sends me a donation letter.   NO MORE.  

I wrote to the MOD and told them that due to their harassing calls, I will never donate.   Its really sad when I reported the number to my State Atty Generals office, they sent me a scolding letter telling me to NOT report charities as they are exempt.   That DNC list is a JOKE.

March of Dimes called my house 5 times in less than 24 hours. And I'm home sick! Very annoying! I filled out the info provided to be removed from calling list. Hope it works!

same here. question: if you use call intercept put a 'block' on the number, and then they call you from a different number, can they be prosecuted for first intentionally violating your Do Not Call preferences and then second intentionally trying to defeat your clear intent to block their calls when you specifically add their number to your blocked caller list?

Calls constantly - at different hours - blocked the 914-293-2738 number, now they use 914-293-2737 - answer - no one is there - disappointing and frustrating

I, too, am so fed up with March of Dimes.  If I never give another penny to them, it will be too much. Don't they realize how angry we all are with constant and repeated phone calls.  I just got another--my second today and my 12th this week. ARGH....How can I get them to stop as the "Do Not Call" list seems to be a joke?

What these callers may not realize is that I will not donate to those who annoy me.  Leave my phone call out, and you will get better response.

This number makes repeated calls morning, noon, and night.   They also show up under the numbers 914-293-2736 and 914-293-2737.   They usually do not leave a message, but a few times a woman's voice will be on the machine simply saying "Hello?   Hello?"   in a confused tone, as if she doesn't know she is reaching an answering machine.   These calls happen on a daily basis.

March of Dimes has also been calling me day and night, 7 days a week.  There is no one on the line.  Now it is coming up "Unknown Name".  I am so sick of them and the disrespect they have for who they are calling but also for March of Dimes

I had the same problem with calls every day of the week starting as early as 8:00 in the morning and past 9:00 at night, often 3 times a day.  I finally got so tired of it that I picked up the phone and after the woman identified herself I told her that they've been calling me an unbelievable amount of times and I don't ever want them to call me again, she verified the number she called me at and said she would place me on the do not call list.  I haven't heard from them since and it's been 3 weeks.

Our caller id identifies the number from March of Dimes.  They have called everyday during the daytime hours for over a month.  We see the number on our caller id and do not answer it.  Tonight they started calling at night 8:45 pm.  I picked up the phone and told them to stop calling.  I hung up before anyone started to talk.  How can I stop them from calling back tomorrow.  Thank You

These are computer generated calls. If a answering machine picks up the line is disconnected. If a live person answers it is then put through to the available telemarketer.

The computers can tell between a live persons voice and a answering machine so don't ask how.

I've been getting calls from this number and (#'s close to it) for the past week or so.  No messages if I'm out and last several times when I pick up, there is no one  on the line. Wonder what's going on??

Again on a Sunday morning I received 2 calls in 10 minutes and finally had enough. The only way to stop these calls is to contact MOD at 1-800-996-2724 and have your name removed fron their list, however they said it may take up to 2 weeks to take effect, we shall see!

These people have been calling my home 7 days a week for over a month, yes even on Sundays. They call as early as 8 AM and as late as 9:45 PM. As others have posted no message is ever left. There must be some way to stop this harassment.

Get calls from this number (914-293-2738), and also 293-2736 & 293-2737 every couple of days.  I do not answer and am not sure why caller ID only shows the tel #?  I notice the tel area code is Westchester County, NY! The tel company equipment there evidently only sends the tel#.  Irritating!

Same as always no company name. no messages.  They call at all hours  3-5 times a day

They call 7 days a week at all hours.  Never anyone on the line.  They are ruining legimate charity giving because they are such a big pain in the butt
