I get calls from Mod two different numbers.  The last one was
914-294-4088. I didn't answer

leaves no message or information.  Caller id is marked anonymous--guess what many of the other calls arem marked and they go along with the Yonkers Ny id which is a supposedly MOD site but is really a collection site.

Calls every day does not leave message when I call the number recording says they are the March of Dimes.  Contacted March of Dimes main number they said it was not them, and they do not have that number.  I am on the do not call list but they do nothing.

They keep calling me with this number or it will be from the same number with the last digit changed.  It is from the March of Dimes Company because I look up this number because it comes up MOD on caller ID.  You can't get these people to stop calling you!!  :-(

this call comes in EVERY single day.  nothing helps.  UGH.

These people call my business at all hours,  usually 7 days a week.  I have tried to tell them to take me off their call list and they hang up before I can finish my sentence.

Daily multiple calls from this #.  Caller ID says MOD.  I never answer it and they hang up after three or four rings.

This number keeps calling us.  When we answer, it is silent on the other end, no matter how long we wait.  It is very frustrating.

Yah, we got a call from these folks too, I don't get it, they call, won't leave a message, if they don't, there's no way I'm picking up on the call the next time.
Just stupid logic these folks have.

I will gladly (even at today's prices) donate however much gasoline 'konaken' thinks he needs to get the job done.I repeat, GLADLY.
My phone will only store 15 caller id's, and MOD sure puts a dent in that.

This is a third party company claiming to collect for March of Dimes.  Previously received call from 914-294-2543 and blocked that number because they would not place my number on THEIR Do Not Call list.. Now they're using 914-294-2224 to overcome their other number that I blocked. There is NO chance in H*** that we're going to donate anything to them!  Hope these scumbags read this,  and other posts, but I just know that their money scaming greed and lack of conscience will not stop.

I'm also getting calls from various 914 area codes, all saying MOD on caller ID.  I actually am a volunteer for MOD locally for an event and thought somehow that got me on the list. MOD is  a great organization with a great cause so I can't believe this is a legitimate thing going on.  Why would they bother making calls and having noone there if they're fundraising anyway?   So they are collecting caller ids from that I bet. Someone is just trying to be a nuisance. I did call this number back and got a recording saying it was March of Dimes, sorry unavailable & will call back.

I am also getting calls from some other area code - can't remember at this moment - but when I looked it up, it's a non-existent area code. Same situation - no one there.

If I find out where their office is, I will nail the door shut, and set the building on fire!

MOD (March of dimes) is on my caller when I get home from work.  They call when I am home, I answer the phone and the line goes dead.  I call them to ask them to stop calling me and I get a recording telling me it is the March of Dimes BUT THER IS NO ONE  TO TALK TO

I am receiving multiple unwanted phone calls from this 914 number. They use multiple four digits: 2224, 2395, 2543 to name the most recent ones. I contribute to the cause, but doesn't stop the telemarketers to call any day of the week.

tired of getting calls from this number at all hours of the day/night, as many as 3 times a day.  finally picked up but didn't say anything and no one was there, no noise, no nothing.  apparently, "do not call" does nothing to stop the scammers.  I'd be willing to have a few cents added to my phone bill every month in order to finance the means to stop these calls. pita

The caller was from March of Dimes.  They want you to mail a request for a donation to all of your neighbors and have them send you the donations which you then have to send to MOD.

Just added the area code to my Digitone call blocker.  Don't get "MOD" [sic] get even. :-)

MOD called. Answered by answering machine--left no message. You cannot tell if this is the March of Dimes (which would be exempt from Do Not Call list) or a third party they hired to raise money for them. If the 3rd party, they are not exempt and only give 1% of your donation to the charity per an article in  the Wall Street Journal. Don't donate over the phone--go to their website and donate directly to the charity.

The reason a large portion of the people are having trouble with this number is because this number is being "Spoofed" by Delta Outsource Group, a collection agency located in O'Fallon, MO.  They will try and gather enough information to create an account.  Many bank accounts have been drained by this establishment and many "Spoofed" phone numbers have been fraudulently used to aquire information.

This number, among many others, are a pain in the a**.  I use my caller ID which comes in handy, and then I will use my caller block too.  But after getting so many calls, the 20 number limit for call blocking is used up in no time.  Something HAS to be done to stop all these annoying calls. I am very ill, and have seizures, so when the phone rings and rings with all these idiots harassing people, it makes me so mad. I am recovering from brain surgery and need lots of quiet. Wish someone could find a solution to this ongoing problem, like a senator, president, etc.  Tell us how to stop these idiots!!!!

Get calls multiple times a day. Call ID works well. Use it.

They started calling a couple of days ago from a (914) 294-2395 number which several people said was MOD. Now they are calling me from the (914) 294-2224 number. They never leave a message and when we DO pick up the phone and say hello, there is no one else on the line.

If they don't stop I'm reporting them to the NYS Attorney General. I don't care if they're a charity, personally I think this is a scammer.

The sheer amount of calls I get from "MOD" pretty much equates to harassment.    I've always heard you should never pick up the phone, as that gives them verification of your number, but isn't getting my answering machine the same thing?  Several calls a day, every day.  I will never contribute to the March of Dimes now, congratulations.

Please tell me what is the solution to this nonsense? The calls must be computerized.

For years I've contributed to March of Dimes because I felt they were a worthy charity. But in the last two months I've been getting calls from their bank of phone in Yonkers, NY at 918 294-2224, 2543, and 2395. Frankly I'm getting fed with it. If they don't stop this I'm going to stop contributing to them altogether.

Never give donations to a stranger who calls you. Might be a scammer. Might be a legit independent fund raiser who keeps 99% for themselves and sends 1% to the charity. Best to donate directly to the charity so they will get 100% of your donation.
