Got a call from this number just now. The woman on the other end - said that she was calling from the Canadian Government Security Alarm Association. She said it is a Canadian government agency and that they are doing a survey to find out about home alarm systems and how they help protect homeowners from crimes. She also mentioned that a security advisor will call in 24 hours to let me know of the advantages of using a home alarm system and how it will protect one's family and kids.

I did check if such a canadian government agency exists and it doesn't - Neither does a survey related home alarm systems and crimes in the area.

When I asked this lady her name, the address of the 'Canadian Government Security Alarm Association's' mailing address, web-site, etc. she said that she is not authorized to give out such information. Then I mentioned that neither am I authorized to provide her information for her survey. (which i think is a bogus survey)

Weeks ---I have been getting calls from this number. I thought I was on the no-call list. How do I get them off my number?

Finally after countless calls from this number as I posted earlier a person was on the other side.  It sounded like a foriegn call center.They called themselves florida energy specialist I listened for a short while then told them if they wanted me to continue listening I needed to tell them of all the proplems I have been having from this number.  So they caller graciously offered to put me on the do not call list i accepted and let her finish her sales pitch then when it was my turn to speak again I told her I live in an apartment (not really the most truthfull aproach) but she hung up and I am off there list Yeah!

Call  305-722-7496 and let them know.  I called them back today to let them know I filed a complaint on the National Do Not Call Registry.  Hope this helps you all.  Good luck.

they called again and this time they answered, the telemarketer was of east asia decent and said they represent florida energy service and wanted to give me a free home survey when I asked to speak with a supervisor she said they couldn't and asked if I was on the do not call list, something they should know before they call.

I'm getting the same. how can we stop them.

I called 305-722-7496 as dave suggested and got to talk to a gal who spoke excellent english... she promised to remove me from their telephone database immediately.

I filed a complaint against the number (914-517-2743) since I am already on the "do not call list"  Used www.donotcall.gov and went to the link to file a complaint.

I got 5 of the same kind of calls today.  I talked to them last week and I was not eligible for their "discount/incentive program".  When I got the last call today someone talked to me, I went along with the speech and set up for them to come over.  The local number I was given if I needed to cancel them from comming to the house is 305-722-7496.  I did call to cancel them from comming in the AM and gave them a rash of crap.  Please call and let them know how mad you all are!

I keep getting continuous phone calls from this number when I answer no one is there.  I tried calling it back it rang aprox 15-20 times then cut off.  Sure would like to annoy them as much as they are annoying me.  Any Ideas on who it is and how to stop them?

I just got a call from them, and asked them the company name.  She (sounded like a foreign call center) said the company name was Florida Energy Specialists in Pines Park, Florida.  I asked their address numerous times, and then she hung up.  I looked up the company on the web, and as I see one hit on manta.com, I assume this is a scam.

have been getting hourly calls from this number for past two weeks. i finally answered and they said they were calling from a Florida energy company!  Told them I am on the do not call list and not to call again. we shall see. Why would a New York area code be calling for a Florida company. obviously some scam at work here.

Got a call on my cell phone, and *then* on the house phone number. :/ They don't say anything, just silence.

Get calls from this number. Usually say nothing. We let it go to answering machine. Once they left a message that used my correct last name. Want to see them do time.

Got a call from 914-517-2743. Many different times. Left a message that used my last name (correctly) and was not understandable after that. Freaks me out. I want to bring these fools to justice.

They called me @ 11:30 PM which my kids and family are in bed, when I answered no one said hello but 8 heard breathing! Tried to return only to find the # unavailable to leave a message.

We just got a call from this number, and it is past 9:00 here.  There was no one on the other end and then it hung up.

We are not answering calls from this number on our phone.

They called and said according to their records, someone in our household has diabetes.  I wonder if that is a HIPAA violation to gather that information.
