It is not verizon, as I never had a verizon phone.  I have however dealt with these scammers multiple times, they say they are the police, some company, a law firm, whatever they think will work to get you to tell them your info.  I dont owe anyone anything.  The funny part is they call my bf's phone thinking its mine because its in my name.  He knows I never give out his number.

Ya, its Verizon. "Hello, this is Verizon Wireless calling with a status change with your account. If this is (your name) please press one...and so on. I'm one day late on my bill.   Time to sick the dogs on me!

I called back from a work phone, it is a Collection Agency, Comstar Financial Services.

the  number is verizon and you should call because you probably own money and they are gonna cut you off!!! hahah

called no message, so I don't bother and will block the number if they call again.

First they called my cell, two mins later my house. What do freaks want?! I'll never pick up any calls I don't recognize, so I'd like them to know that they are wasting their time.

It is Verizon.  I called the number(s) from an unknown lan line and the message is "Thank you for calling the Verizon wireless message retrieval center".  So you say if it is Verizon, which is how they address the message then why dont' they just leave the message.   Oh, so someone redialed the lan line back and said they had the wrong number.  They can keep calling because I'll never pick it up.  People that know me will leave a message.  Thanks for listening to me vent
