Caller ID showed this number belonging to "LAW ENF EDU PRO".  Since others report it as
being from the March of Dimes, I assume someone bought a robo-caller and set up in business as
a fund raiser.  

This number has repeatedly responded to a craigslist ad I listed.  They are trying to buy jewelry from me and are requesting to pay bogus ways and say  if I let them they will pay me more....

I also received calls from, 914-984-2931--however my caller ID lists the caller as "Law Enforcement and Education Program"  calling the number, the recorded message identifies its self with the same title, no mention is made of anything to do with :March of Dimes" and no option given to opt opt of future calls

this number is also calling kansas & Missouri

The calls had stopped for awhile but as of today, I received two calls from "Officer John Hastings" who barely speaks English.  He claims to be from the Federal Department of Justice, which does not exist nor would the U.S. Justice Deparmtnet participate in scams such as this.  I sent the information to the my state Attorney General as well as the Police Department. Hopefully they will stop or at least scare these idiots!

They called again and I picked up.  It was March of Dimes asking if I would collect for them in my neighborhood.  I've done this for them before, so this number is legitimate.

I've received numerous calls from this number. There is never anyone on the other end.  Some of the calls have been before 8am.  I called the number back and it's always a recording BUT I pressed 1 and then
the number to opt out from receiving future calls.  They say it takes 30 days for it to become effective.
I never donated to the March of Dimes before and now I'm so angry at them that I never will.

I called the number back and it was the March of Dimes.  I pressed 1 for more information. They gave me the option of entering my phone # to remove it from the list.  It said that it could take up to 30 days to remove my number but they would make an effort to remove it within a few days.

Very annoying they call at all hours.  I have been getting 2 calls a day from as early as 8:15 AM to as late as 10:45

Unfortunately, Ed, the Do Not Call List does not apply to charitable groups and election campaigning.  Bummer for all of us.  Thinking I'll get my landline disconnected.

This is a daily call from this number at all times of the day for weeks on end; no messages ever left.  My next stop is the Attorney General's Office in NC and they do get results!  The Do Not Call List doesn't faze these slimmy creatures.

Agree with your post. Have had several calls over past week on daily basis. Had one Sunday evening shortly before 9PM then again Monday am @ 8:40. No one answers, either open line or dial tone when I pick up the phone. Consider the repeated calls harrassment and if I had any intention of donating to support them, they have annoyed me to the point that I would never give them a dime again!!!!!!

Calling daily for two weeks. Called back and went through the prompts to remove my number after reading about this on another website. I hope this works. It really irritates me that charities can keep calling over and over.  Send me paper mail but DO NOT CALL ME! I feel it is an invasion of my privacy.

Caller ID says "Pleasantville NY."  I did not pick up and no message was left.

I've gotten two to three calls daily from this number for the past few weeks.  Caller ID says March of Dimes.  I called the number back and at the end you can opt to have your number removed from their database which I did.  It can take up to thirty days for this to happen.

They have been calling 4 and 5 times a day for weeks.  I put a block on the number that shows on the screen (Pleasantville, NY} and each time they call from a different number.  They certainly are determined to have me answer the phone.  They even call on Sunday.  One would think after awhile they would get the hint.

You would think that by now these people would know what the DNC list is and what is means.  They should fined and shut down for breaking the law.

They have called 13 times over 17 days.  Caller ID says Pleasantvl, NY. No one is on the line if I pick up, and they NEVER leave a message.  If it's a legitimate caller like some say and it's the "March of Dimes" why doesn't anyone speak?  This is harassment, plain and simple.  I hope the March of Dimes can do without any support from me.  Looks like I send their money to the A.S.P.C.A. from now on.
If everyone who receives these harassing calls would do the same, maybe they would get the message
that this is the wrong way to solicit funds.

This number from Pleasantville, NY keeps calling my house and I do not even know where Pleasantville, NY is.

I have received multiple calls asking for my assistance with the March of Dimes.  I have repeatedly told them that I am battling cancer at this time and cannot help out as I have done before.  Is there no way to keep these people from callling me constantly.  I am on the do not call list, but I understand that does not affect charities.  Surely ill people should not have to be subjected to this constant barrage of calls.

This number has been calling me for the last few weeks; multiple times during the day. I stopped answering because there's no response when I answer.  It states it's from "Pleasantville, NY". If it's legit like some say and it's the "March of Dimes" why doesn't anyone speak?  This is weird.

I happened to come across your message and called the number as you did.  I left my phone number to be removed but it said it would take like 30 days to remove it, however, they will do everything they can to remove it ASAP.  Hope this works.  The first time I tried, I didn't press the #1 key as I didn't want any more information.  I got cut off so I called again, pressed the 1 and listened.  Sure enough, you can leave your phone number and they will eventually take you off their list.

They have called me almost daily for the last two weeks, in the late evening, in the early morning including,Sundays and Saturdays.   Caller id said March of Dimes.  When I finally picked-up there was no response so I told them they were rude and aggressive and not to call.  I am on the opt out call list and will report this number and "march of Dimes" id to the proper authorities.  This type of phone solicitation needs to be stopped.

I've been receiving phone calls from telephone number 914-984-2931 for the past two weeks at least three times a day with only three rings. I decided to pick up on the second ring and heard nothing. What is the best way to eliminate this harassment?

I've been getting at least one and often more than one call a day from 914-984-2931 with caller ID of March of Dimes.  When I answer it says they are sorry they missed my call and to press 1 for more information.  Unlike other people commenting here, I don't get any other options, just silence after it says to press 1.  I just went on their website and opted out of ANY communications from MoD and also reported the number to the FCC. If any of this works I'll post again.
