I got a call from a man with an African accident 7/18/11 saying he was DPS and mentioned something about a bad accident.  I traced the call and it came from 1-915-633-6898.  That is an El Paso and West Texas area code.

My friend tells me that there is a Nigerian scam going about and they prey mostly on old people.  They start talking about an accident, but I hung up on him before he told me the whole story.

I received a call from this number.  I picked it up after the second ring and the party hung up.  Calling back I only received    a busy signal and gave up after three attempts.  My daughter was driving home and I thought that she may have been in an accident, especially since she did not answer her cell phone within a few minutes after receiving my call.   This telemarketer should not be allowed to used Texas Highway Patrol as their caller id.

I spoke with Texas Highway Patrol in El Paso.  They said that this number was the organization that asks for donations for fallen officers' families.  I was so worried since I have a son camping in south Texas, Big Bend.

Received a call.  It rang twice.  I answered and heard a dial tone.  I called back, no answer.  I continued to call back and received a busy signal.
