I've received several phone calls from this number, but when I pick up it's either silence or a pre-recorded voice saying "goodbye." Weird.

They call me every day, usually during lunch hour; never a message, caller ID says "California Call" -- it's very annoying.  Phone company says the only option is to use the Privacy Manager service which will screen your calls once you've plugged in the phone numbers of your family and friends.  Then their calls will come through and the ones you don't want to be bothered with will be blocked.

Same thing, 059, I never hear of such a number, no message.

Just called my house weird number left no voice mail its probably a spoof number coming from a solicitor
