i'm a concierge and do alot of business in the U.S. and recognized it was a CA number. Didnt answer it.

Same thing happened here, Toronto Ontario, picked it up but there was no answer, googled the area code to see where the call came from. Good thing I did so, otherwise I may have called back!

got the call today, feb, 11/09 at 2:51pm. i answered but no one was on the other side, so I hung up.

They told me that I needed to go to Wikipedia Canada Do Not Call List to remove myself.

Had one on my business cell a few minutes ago 3:30 PST.  No VM left.  I'm in Vancouver.

The call is from a company that states you're a winder of a free promotional gift.  It apparently is a trip to Cancun.  Once I got a live operator after pressing 1, I asked nicely to be taken off the phone list.  She appologised, told me how, and thanked me for being polite to her.

FINALLY!  A nice telemarketer!

Got a call from this number as well, and I'm in Nova Scotia! So guys voice with strange accent saying my phone number was sellected for promotion! Hung up and didn't call back.

Received a call from this number 5 minutes ago. Didn't answer the call,  no voice message left.  I'm in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Called my cell, didn't leave a message.  Looked it up.  Also received a phone call soon after from 909-650-9133: Car insurance scam.  The girlfriend received one from 949-256-9179, same thing.  From Ottawa, Ontario.

Thanks for the messages, I am in Whistler and was waiting for news on job offers when I saw this missed call. I returned the call and lost half of my phone credit! I hope this page will help save others from doing the same!

It appears they're still working south-west Ontario. I'm in Toronto and I got a call from 916-209-4598 at around 5pm (EST) on Wednesday, December 18, 2008. No message left.

same deal, gt the call. its non-sense...wonder if they try to bill you 50 bucks minute for calling back while theyve got you on hold. SCAM
