Beginning to get marketing calls for automobile extended warranties.  My vehichles are over 8 years old, so this must be a scam

Received call on cell.  Prerecorded message from "Ann regarding important information on warranty".  Did not respond.  My husband has also been receiving calls on his cell within the past two weeks.

Same thing to say about cars... from a different phone number

This number called me aswell. It was a machine, so I hung up my phone.

Okay, gang, I've hit the Mother Load!  Read below and be sure to copy these numbers.  I've called them all, and I'm registering complaints against them all:

The following numbers 760-526-8172, 201-210-6015, 818-870-5041, 763-392-5983, 508-534-1282, 978-570-2251, 603-214-3661, 213-363-5145, 702-520-1432, 702-520-1494, 916-219-8162, ALL reached the SAME message in the same recorded voice.  The message said:

"Thank you for calling.  We are sorry if we reached your number in error.  We only purchase and call business phone listings.  If you would like the number removed from our calling list, please press 1."

I called the first number (760-526-8172) without my phone being blocked.  When asked to press 1 to remove my number from their list, nothing registered; instead, the same message repeated as many times as I pressed 1.  

I called all the other numbers I've listed here.  Each had different caller IDs and each had different area codes, BUT THE ALL LED TO THE SAME RECORDED MESSAGE!  

This is a lawsuit waiting to happen.  Companies HAVE to identify themselves, they HAVE to provide us (within no more than 30 days) their company's Do Not Call Policy, and they HAVE to allow us to opt out of future calls by telling them to put us on their company's Do Not Call List.  If they fail to do even ONE of these things, they are breaking the law and can be fined?per call!

It's a list of heavy forfeitures being currently proposed.  

Now you can take back your power and reclaim your peaceful existence!  Report calls from any of the numbers you have copied from above.  Call them to verify them for yourself, if you wish.  I was told that even 3 complaints registered against any company with the FCC and/or the FTC would lead to its investigation.

i've been getting call from them this whole month, i normally dont answer but this time i did and it was a message saying my car warrantine was going to expire(i dont even have a car) you will only get this warning 2 more times. I asked to be removed from that list but it didnt happen. I just put them on my reject list.

I get at least one call from these jerks <<every day>>! I have yet to get an actual person, much less my name removed from their list. Been receiving calls for almost a month.

I have received about 4 calls from this number.  3 times i was able to get to a person.  The 1st time i ignored them.  The 2nd time, i told them that they may have made a mistake and i gave them the year of my car and they immediately hung up.  The 3rd time, i spoke to a woman and i told her that she made a mistake, and i gave her the year, make, and model of my car and she apologized, said yes she made a mistake, and hung up.  The 4th time was a few minutes ago, and i spoke to a man named James, and when he asked me for my information, i stopped him and said before we go any further, on this call can you please give me all the information you have in your system connected to this phone number.  He immediately hung up.  This has become a nuisance and i know see that something is not write.

My husband has been getting calls from this number too.  When he was placed on hold I wated to speak to the person on the other end.  It was said to be in reference to our cars warenty expiring.  RIGHT!  I don't think so.  Whe I asked where she got our number from she immediately hung up on me.  Something fishie.  I recommend not talking to these people.  Pretty good idea to scam someone.  Just ask them for there credit card number, SS# or anything like that and there you go.  Avoid them.  We also asked to be removed from there list and it hasn't happened yet.  the # was 916-219-8162.

Just got a call from this number and thought it was my brother calling from work or something.  When I called the number back (they didn't leave me a message), it was a recording of a woman but I couldn't understand what she was saying as it was rather muffled.  Wanted me to press "1" for something.  I just hung up though.  Probably another telemarketer...been getting a lot of those kinds of calls lately.  Have they sold our numbers for cell phones now?

got 2 calls on my cell today no vm left.. need 2 know who this is??

Received on my cell last night. Only rang twice and they hung up or quit before I got it.  No message left but I have received a 916-219-xxxx phone call at work before and it was a telemarketer.  Reverse look up on Switchboard.com comes up with nothing.
