I recieved a "missed call" on Friday around 11:15am no vm left. The next sat morning around 10:45 I recieved another call this one I was able to answer but when I said hello no one replied and it just cut out

I recieved a "missed call" from this number about 11:15am Friday and then another call on Saturday morning around 10:45. This time I was able to answer but no one said anything and it was cut out

This number belongs to "Precision Auto Protection" and is selling insurance.  If you call back and press 1 you will be removed from their calling list.

Rcvd call from number however no voicemail

I just received a missed call from the same number on my skype no VM was left

a worker from California Energy Systems picked up and was trying to inform me about a program to save money on my electricity bill.  I had to cut him off right there though because I currently don't live in California even though I still carry my California phone number.  Not too much of a bother....I think they're harmless.

I received a call from 916.248.5021 today at 2:07pm on my C/P.  I missed the call yet no VM message was left. So after I'd come to this web page and read the previous posts about the same number, II blocked my caller ID and returned  the call. The call was answered by call rep:  "Nathan" from "California Energy Systems" . I told him I'd like my number removed from their call list, after I 'd asked him why they don't leave a VM message. He said the reason is because most likely a computer called me and when no one answers it hangs up. He told me my number would be removed from the call list in approximately 24hrs, that it takes a little longer to have someone punch in my number to remove it from the list"manually" list as opposed to if I'd returned the call with my caller ID displayed so he could do it right then. . I said it was fine, since normally those kinds of places tell you that it takes a day or something like that anyway. He was very polite, asked no questions at all of me. He apologized for my time being taken and being bothered by the call. He then wished me a nice evening. I don't believe I've ever received a call from that number before. It didn't look familiar. So, let's hope my call to them will indeed remove my number from the computer generated call list. A list that's used I'm sure for sales purposes, to try and sell me something intended for a home owner, not renter as I am...

Don't know who it was or for what purpose, but this is certainly suspicious.

I received a call from this number and I called back to have a person say they are representing California Energy Systems....

Asked me if this was a land line or cell phone and hung up. Currently not taking my calls or forwarding me to voicemail. Don't know who it was or for what purpose, but this is certainly suspicious.
