I got a few messages leaving this as a callback number.  Some guy calling himself Sam Scott, with very bad english, said he had important information regarding my credit and that very bad things where soon to happen if I didn't call him back soon and resolve the situation... said, "he would have no control over what unfolds".  Said he was calling from the law office of John A Bast (maybe).  Seems very unprofessional, and I would suspect a scam.  Why would a law office employee be so personally vested in my situation anyway.  If he does work for a law office they have the worst hiring practices ever and I would guess they don't get much business.

Yes! this number just called me today. And also gave me another number to call to talk about the situation, because they claimed they could not give me any infomation. I was scared at frist too, I knew I hadent done anything wrong but when they threatended to come to my job and arrest me I was so shocked.

I just had a call at work some foreign guy indian accent named Logan Stone calling from  lawyer John A Bast. I took a message..  I didnt let the person tell me what it was about since I pretended not to be the person that they asked for

These idiots keep calling me and then had the audacity to call my work.  Sounded like someone with a foreign accent.  Will report them to the attorney general's office.

He called 3 times in one day stating it was my "final warning" and then called again today with the same threat. Each time he requested my attorney contact information. He calls from 4 different numbers. He even got a hold of my boss when I wasn't at my desk, was very rude to her because the first time she answered it was dead silence so she she hung up. He actually answered her hello with "Why did you hang up on me?"
These people are pretty relentless but they eventually go to the next name on the list. I put my work phone on do not disturb. They don't leave messages on the business phone, but they do leave messages on cellular phones. It's always the same. I looked up all 4 numbers he called from, and they all have the same complaint. Fake debt, don't give them any information. If you can block the calls eventually they will stop calling. I've dealt with these guys before, they buy your information off of non-secure sites and then use it to scare you into releasing information so they can take money that isn't owed. I can't imagine many people fall for it anymore.

These people called me today at my work.  I answered it and when he said my name, I hung up.  Called back 4 more times.  I wish these people would not call and try to harass people while they are at work.  They keep calling wanting money for some payday loans I took out but I have an attorney who I pay quite well taking care of the matter.  This is a scam pure and simple.  Don't fall for it.

Yes I received the same call today from Dexter Cruz.  He was very rude and even spoke with my supervisor only to be transferrred back to me.  I did indeed call the number back, and the guy "Attorney Robert Carlson" stated that they were going to keep calling and then hung up on me.  I was a little angry, so I called him back and played on his phone just to give him a taste of his own medicine.  I didn't believe them because as you and every one stated, I know I didn't take out any loans.

Some Indian dude says hes from the State's Attorney office. I asked, "What State?". "Oh, I'm wit de office o Jonee Best." "Did you say the famous attorney Johnny Quest?" "Yes, you right, Joneee Quest" LMAO!

I'm betting you applied online for a payday, or title, loan. They are scammers in India that are threatening law suits and criminal charges. Contact your State Atty General Consumer Protection Division. Eventually, it will shut them down. Call them back, repeatedly, tell whom ever answers that you are recording the call and would like to speak to a supervisor. You will never hear from them again. Check your credit immediately, you are in danger of ID theft.

If you're going to scam me, at least do it in English. These poor Indian/Pakistani fruit cakes can't even run a viable scam because they don't have commad of the language.

I've been receiving numerous phone calls and voicemail messages from a man at this number saying his name is Eric Johnson. The phone calls started after I applied online for a payday loan that I declined. It is obvious to me that these people are scammers. They have a Middle Eastern accent that is difficult to understand and this Eric Johnson tried to threaten me with a lawsuit for non-payment of a payday loan that I never took out! They knew the last 4 digits of my SS number which is disconcerting. Plz look into getting these crooks shut down. Thank you.

I've had these scumbags trying to harass me for the last few days! I'm not stupid and knew right of the bay they were scammers. I actually laughed when one of them said they were a lawyer cuz he didn't even sound convinced himself! lol Unfortunately I'm not sure what happens to these people who do this. Do they even get in trouble or prosecuted? They need to be stopped because a lot of people do feel intimidated and may give these crooks money. They knew the last 4 digits of my SS # and they got my cell phone # so they must have some way to get people's personal information, which really isn't hard to do these days. I will call the FTC on Monday and report them. If you get any results plz let me know. Thx for posting.

I have been getting the same calls but they didn't realise I work for the commonwealth attorney so now I have the fed.trade commission and the FBI tracking them down so if anyone that has received a call from these immigrates trying to take money from people that actualy work for a living please call the federal trades commission at 877-382-4357 or your local FBI office

I just recieved a call from a guy with a fairly strong accent, claiming he needed my attorney's name and number because I have a lawsuit being filed against my name and social security number.  So I calmly asked the guy "if that is true, can you tell me what my social security number is?".   Of course he couldn't tell me what it is because it was with "his" attorney, I'm assuming he meant who he's working for.  So I told him that I'll wait to be served.  Lawsuits are not typically served to an attorney, they are served to the individual.  He then gave me this BS phone number, and even asked me to repeat it back to him!  I did, and the conversation ended normally.  He wasn't rude or anything, but like it was mentioned above, there was alot of background talking...like a call center.  After my pleasant chat, I called my girlfriend....who is an attorney!!!!!  The first thing she said to me when I told her it was a California number (I obviously don't live in CA) "this is a scam, almost always, they have to have representation in the state to serve you".  
My advice to those that are being harrassed:
1.) Block the number, there are apps to do this for cell phones, it can even be a service your provider (I know AT&T does) will do.  My place of business also has the capability to block calls.  
2.) Stay calm, a phone call from somebody that can't even articulate the native language claiming something that is obviously false can't do a damn thing to you unless you let him, by giving him information.
3.) Don't call the number back!!  Then they know they have at least a partial sucker to keep harrassing!!!!

I received a call this morning from this number; he says his name is Daniel Martin.  He went on to say what the matter was about and yes these people are very rude.  They are not suppose to call your job nor discuss the matter with other employees who think they have something on you and spread it all around.  I googled the number and can't find who this person is or who they work for.  I guess they don't have anything else to do and they are not very professional at all nor do they know phone etiquette.  Sad for the business.

I just got a call from a guy named Daniel Marking and was from the law office of John A. Vast.  It was really hard to understand him since his accent was so thick.  He told me that it is highly advisable for me to call him back due to a pending lawsuit against my name.  After reading everyone's comments.  I agree, he's a scammer.  I kept hearing other people talking in the background.

Same guys calls me numerous times a day.  if i dont answer my cell he calls my office.  This is getting ridiculous.  I wish i could find out who these people are so i could file harassment charges on them.  I could not understand the person if you are going to work in America you should learn the language and know that we do not do well if we are threatened here...

Dan Wilson just called my job and told them that the police are coming to arrest me in two hours.  I called him back and told him to give me some information so that I could handle the matter that he is speaking about and he said to pay him $495 over the phone, I told him I will not do that and he told me the police will be here in two hours to arrest me.  My son has gotten these calls over the past few days also and they are calling our jobs.  Going to report the number to the FTC as soon as I can get on a site.

Received a call from this guy couldn't understand what he was saying had a real strong accent. He was very rude threatened me and my family. then proceeded to tell me that he  was filing court action with my social. First of all if you have caller id the name always shows up which then would be linked to a attorney's office. Attorney's love tto advertise. Second usually all partners, legal assistants and investigators know the whole story or at least what it is about. Recently   I was ripped off 400.00 by a Lei Gen company supposedly out of Monroesville pa . They stole money from my account. And I called the attorney general on them. I think it is the same people. now this.

The same guy just called my cell 6-7 time in a row, when I answered I asked who he was, be just said he is with the supreme court, I think is what he said I couldn't understand a word he was saying. I Hung up, he called back so I screamed in his war then Hung up.
