A man called looking for my sister... called several times over the course of a month before I finally answered.  He acted like he didn't know why they had my number (also called my mother in another state several times)... wanted my sister's info... I actually called him back at the number he gave me and it was some law firm, although he wouldn't disclose the nature of his business with my sister.  I'm guessing it's for collection on a delinquent account.

A woman called looking for one of my neighbors.  She asked me to put a note on my neighbor's door with her contact information.  I told her I was suspect of her motives and felt certain she was from a collection agency.  She said she was with a legal office.  I said I didn't believe her and I refused to take her information. I told her to call our apartment rental office.  She asked for that number and I told her if she could find my number, she could find the rental office number.  I told her I had no intention of helping her and not to ever contact me again.  I also added that I think this is right on the edge of being, if not completely in violation with the Fair Debt Collection Act.

Two different woman keeps calling stating they are with law firm Alan Lanskin.  I search and found that it's a law firm in Sacramento for injury cases.  Somehow she got my work, cell, and home phone.  AND on top of that my spouse's information.  She calls all the time even on Saturdays.  2 months later I received a summons that they were going to sue me over a small credit debt.  Now she leaves threating messages that she will garnish my wages and take my spouse's property. It has been 5 months and no court date.  If you try calling the number on caller ID it will state the law firm name; HOWEVER, someone will star 69 you back.

Received call on answering machine while out of state a few weeks asking for my daughter to return the call and she does not live with me.  Just received same message for my daughter to call and the caller said it was from the Law Office of Alan Laskin.

Caller ask to speak to my son, when I replied he was not here they ask if I was his wife. I answered no, he's my son. They then ask if he was under the age of 18yrs, if so they could talk to me. Out of curiousity I lied and said yes thats when another person came on the phone asking when was he born when I hesitated to answer, he responded let me help you out and gave his date of birth. He was very rudly and disrespectfully he ask if he lives with me,I responded you seem to know everything else you tell me.I refuse to give out any information, since he refuse to give me information as to what the call was concerning.

Caller used my name . Advised the call had to do with my neighbor(real name used). Advised it was a very imporant matter. asked me to leave a note on this neighbors door. He gave me his name (Justin Funke) with a toll free number 1-877-877-6129 ext.4014..He was polite but, why you calling me???

they called me again tonite. Looking for my neighbor. I told them last week I would not give him a message and not to call here again. She said they would call me everyday until I did give him a message!

I received a call on my answering machine saying Allison this is so and so from a law office to please call them.  There was no other info, but the number showed up on the caller ID as COMSTOCKHOLDING.

I just got a call from these people.  I don't know who they are, but Caller ID reports COMSTOCKHOLDING.

They were calling for a neighbor, and asked me to place a message for them on their door.  I declined.
