this call is scam.....

OMG!  This person has called my office about 20 times!  Saying the exact same thing....this is ridiculous!  He had a strong Indian accent and was very rude to me as well.  I told him to "validate the debt in writing" where he got even more annoyed....He was very loud and agressive.  This is a scam!!!  I can't guarantee he wont call back but I can guarantee I will hang up in his face when he does.

I Recieved a phone call yesterday from this numbrr sounded like an indian man who i can Barely understand. Said I can handle this Matter Outside of Court and since i couldnt pay it they were going to come to my job arrest me and I was Going to Jail for 7 years Smh... when i called the court house they said it was no warrant... Definitely A scam Smh

How can yu stop this person from calling me he won't leave me alone

I have been receiving calm from this number 1-916-426-6621 say something about my SSN that there law suit and he from the attorney office if I don't call back they will arrest me and they have call my job.

The same thing just happened to me. An Indian speaking person did the same to me. I asked for a name and he gave me George Pelowskin and 2 numbers to cal 916-258-5092 & 916-426-6621. Neither worked. This is a scam, I'm sure of it

I received a call from (916) 426-6621 this morning 6 times in a row within seconds of each other. I didn't answer my phone at the time when they were 1st calling,  I searched the number on the internet and found this sight and read all of the posts about this number. I'm glad I did because they keep calling me and I don't know why. I am getting pissed offed though because whoever this is keeps calling several times in a row but won't leave a message. Out of curiosity I called the number back from another phone and a man answered saying it was an attorney office or the attorney general office, I didn't say anything I just hung up.  THEY ARE PISSING ME OFF.....

same here, been getting his calls even to my work, harassing me, threating me, of arrest and death by hanging. calls from same area code, different numbers. says he from DA office.

This guy calls claiming I'm this other lady. You can't understand him what so ever! All I understood from him was "Do you have an attorney?" And that's it! When I told him I'm not the person you're looking for he insisted I was her and he gave me someone else's last four of her social and said "I did a background check and this number came up so I know you are *******" I cussed him out and told him to get rid of my number cause he got the wrong damn person and hung up on him! These people are scammers. They want you to verify information so they can use it. Stupid people!

THESE A***OLES JUST CALLED ME AND TRIED TO SCARE ME BY STATING THEY WILL SEND THE POLICE TO MY JOB AND ALSO STATED THAT I HAVE COMMITED FRAUD BY ENTERING SOME WRONG INFORMATION FOR AN ONLINE LOAN. HAHA THEY ARE REALLY STUPID.  HE ALSO GOT FRUSTRATED WITH MY FOLLOW UP QUESTIONS AND HUNG UP ON ME, WHEN I CALLED BACK THE SAME GUY CUSSED ME OUT SAYING THAT "HE IS NOT MY FRIEND AND HE WOULD LOVE TO DRAG ME TO A BUS AND THROW ME UNDER THE BUS " LMFAO, THEY HAVE NO LIFE.

Please do not believe this guy!! Total scam! I hope I don't sound racist but if you ever talk to an Indian man about a loan, it is a scam!! I remember this man from at least a year ago... " I wish you good luck as the situation unfolds on you." As soon as I heard that I knew. I wonder if I can report these people?

This man called me claiming I had a lawsuit against me and that I needed to settle out of court. I asked for him to mail me this claim and he became rude and hung up on me. He calls me all day from different numbers pretending to be someone else.

When this phone call came in the first one was at 7:37 this morning and I basically told him that it was illegal for him to be calling before 9:00 am.  Hung up, called again at 7:38 - I hung up again.  3rd time ws 7:40 hung up again - 4th time 8:02 am he told me I had no right to hang up on him it was official business and my SS# was involved in a lawsuit (he actually had the last 4 #'s of it).  He wouldn't tell me anything about who was suing me and for what purpose.  I hung up again.

Received a call from 916-426-6621 7:02 am, ignored the call they called right back! Thinking it might be my sister who also has the same area code and works in Sac, CA for the state.. The person identified himself as a Paralegal with the California General Attorneys Office, i asked this man if he worked for this office why is he calling me at this hour as it is illegal in this state, he just replied that he starts at this hour, he continued to say that my social security number is in a lawsuit and to call 916-258-5092 Brandon Gabriel. I then asked if he is a paralegal with the deptartment he claims then he could tell me what this is about and if there is such a lawsuit then i would be notified by certified mail/currier not a phone call.I further let this man know that my sister works for the state and what he is claiming is very serious and i am going to get to the bottome of this and i hung up!!! i am not lettting these people call me hour after hour....We have laws! Cannot just let this go without doing something about it!...

Received 6 phones calls with an hour (all of them before 8:00 am CA time - I live in CA).  Demanding that I listen to his "speech".  Told me his name was Tony Scott (but definitely had a middle eastern accent) and he was calling from the Attorney General of CA's office.  I had until 1:00 pm to day (1/30/14) to answer the demand for payment (for what he never said) or they would file charges and have a sheriff show up at my home or my place of work.  I happen to work with a gal who's former job was with a lawyer and she has informed me that that is not how this works.  Especially since I have NEVER received any type of summons or paperwork of any kind.  Most definitely a scam.

I received the same call, this time he is calling himself Matt Reeves with Indian accent calling from state's attorney office and leaving a different phone number to call him back.  He called me back to back total 8 times.  I answered the phone on 9th call and said "Get off my phone, you scam artist!!"

I got called a message left saying I owe money to call asap or I would be arrested!!! Indian guy could not speak English very well!!!SCAMMER

Middle Eastern man called my work & stated he was from the Attorney General and he said it was urgent about my social security # (he left a message with my co-worker) he didn't even wait an hour and already called back.  We can see the number on the caller ID so we let him know we are aware of his scam & he chuckled & stated he will calling back again tomorrow from 8am to 8pm
