I too have been called by the 916-437 **** Maximum Security number.....I initially ignored and never answered the call.  Then I answered today and got a hang-up which then got me wondering if it was a call from an inmate using trickery to call my number I answer and clicked over to use my line to call somewhere else.  Glad I kept researching, I'll keep ignoring from now own.  I realize telemarketering companies need to make contacts and money....but I'm getting sick of them.....and now they call your cellphones too..uggggg!

I just got a call from maximum security.  The number is 926-437-0420.  My three yr old son answered the call on speaker phone.  The jack*** was rude.  My son said hello and started to giggle.  He told my son to get his parents.  Then he continued to be rude by telling my son that he "knows where he lives punk"  A total @#!!*#@.  Who the hell do this b*****d think he is threatening a child on the phone.  I hung up the phone and he preceeded to call two more times.

I kept getting text messages on my cell. I asked once who it was and I got back something like "Who do you think it is?" I put two stops on the phone as a reply like the phone co told me to do. They said it would make the number blocked but they did it again. I then replied with " You aren't much or you would tell me what or who you are!" They texted me back and said they took me off their message list and would not text me again.

Got a call from 916-437-0451 maximun security, I answered and only heard some breathing and then a hang up. By the looks of the other comments this is a number to avoid dealing with.

DON'T BE FOOLED BY THESE GUYS!  THEY ARE PROCESS SERVERS!  THEY ARE CALLING YOU TO SEE IF YOU ARE HOME SO THEY CAN SERVE PAPERS FOR LAWSUITS, DIVORCE, COLLECTION NOTICES, OR ANYTHING ELSE THE AVERAGE PERSON WON'T ENJOY GETTING.  AND ALSO, YOU NEVER KNOW IF IT IS A MORE THAN NORMALLY EDUCATED HOUSE BURLAR JUST CHECKING TO SEE WHO'S HOME AND WHO IS NOT.

These people call my house everyday I never answer the phone just let it go to voice mail to see if they leave a message. They never do, if these people are scam artist, they got another thing coming come near my home you are dead meat, because I hurt you very bad "BEWARE"

Got a call from 916-437-0451.  They were offering free security monitoring system.  They also mentioned that there is an increase in kidnapping??? Very strange.  I told them that I just installed a new system and that I am not interested.

I've been getting calls from: Maximum Security> 1-916-437-0223, 1-916-437-0442, ... James Yarbrough> 1-916-437-0643> Regina Gamez 1-916-437-7042 and Sacramento, CA> 1-916-437-0594.. I Get Calls From These (IDIOTS) Phone Numbers Everyday Of The Week, Morning & Evenings!! I've called my phone company Cox Communications about this problem.. They said, "for a fee $4.99 a month, I would be able to block up to 31 different phone numbers a month".  I said, " No, Thank You"!  I'm gonna cancel my land line that I rarely ever use.. THE HELL WITH COX COMMUNICATIONS!!! HA..HA..HA!!! I GET THE LAST LAUGH OUT OF THIS!!.. THANK GOD FOR MY CELL PHONE AND INTERNET. TAKE THAT TO THE BANK!!

THEN I GOT A CALL FROM MAM. SECURITY WHATS THE DEAL HERE TOO?

A man called at 7:10 pm today 03/23/2010 to say that the company he represented, a large national home security co, would stop by tomorrow to assess the house for installation of a security system. He would not mail us info, or give his ph#, or tell me a website I could refer to.

I told him I didn't trust him and he got belligerent and said it was my loss.

Later in the eve I called our phone co to report. They said tru *69, to find out the number, if no one else had called since then. No one had, so I tried it and got the number: 916-437-0451, as shown above.

I then called the local police department (Burlington, VT) and reported it at approx 10:42pm to an officer Shawn ____ at the front desk, who took down all the info.

Yes. This is not just some harmless scam, this can be quite dangerous.

For safety's sake, if your hubby still wants to meet with them, make sure it's in a public place, under no circumstances should you allow these crooks into your home.

Caller ID says Maximum Security....I've seen other post for 916-437-04** numbers from Maximum Security...not sure what their gig is...they were asking for management....I'm a work at home...no way to transfer a call even if I thought they were legitimate.
