The IDIOT called and left a message saying that he was "office robert" calling for "you" and "you must call back immediately upon recieving this message of the local law inforcement wou arrest you at you work."

Indian male with heavy accent, demand for my name, my phone no., telling me i must give my information to him in order for him to help me resolve some federal tax investigation....i ask him his name, he said he's an officer and i must give him my name & phone no., i told him my husband is Tax director at I.R.S., if i was in trouble with any taxes issue, my husband would tell me so, not having to wait for some idiot calling my work no. telling me i'm in trouble with federal tax investigation. he hung up so fast.    i think we should call 916-476-9639 back,

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

An Indian guy claiming to be "office robert" from some office of tax investigation called today to say my social security number had a claim against it and they were going to confiscate our house and property. I called my local small-town police department and they said they were happy to call the number and see what they could do!

Today they are claiming to be Julie Packter (even though voice is a man) (sounds like same two guys as yesterday) and Peter Cyrus from San Diego Sheriff's Department.  They want the address to come over and arrest us for Tax Fraud.  Caller id is coming from Sacramento 916-476-9639.

There is a fairly common IRS or "tax scam" being practiced by scammers in both Canada and the USA.

These Indian guys just called harassing me today.  Is there anything that can be done about them?  These posts date back to Jan 10, 2014.  Looks like these guys have been getting away with this way too long.

These guys just call and harassing people. They said first that they are case against me because I own. Please do not get fool by these callers from this phone number. 9164769639 Please do not give them any information. They are fraud.

These guys have way too much times on their hands, they called claiming that I was going to be arrested due to tax fraud and the IRS hired them to call me. I played along sarcastically and then after noticing I was mocking them, the Officer "John Miller" suddenly told me to s*** his***** and hung up. These kind of harrasment/scam calls need to be addressed.

These guys seem to be trying to convince people they are federal tax investigators...

They are saying that they are a legal office and they are sending someone to my house.
