I had a missed call from this number, they didn't leave a voicemail. They keep sending me notices that I owe them money that my federal grants actually covered. They said that since I left mid semester (family emergency) the grant couldn't cover it. I told them to send me the money then, or send me some proof that they "refunded" it to the grantor. They told me they couldn't do that, so I told them to shove it... 6 months later, I guess they'll try and call me. Oh well... knock yourself out, you're not getting that money.

I just received a call at work and then they called the 800 number to my job asking for me. I called the number back from my cellphone and hung up.  Then I got 5 calls back to back for Olivia ext 4447.  That is harassment.  UOP wanted that money paid in 2 months and they didn't care how they got it. Credit Card, Loan, Etc. IF I had that kind of money to pay in 2 months then I would be rich and going to a better school, right? I am living paycheck to paycheck and do not have that kind of money.  I have put off classes while I workout some personal family issues.  I have told UOP that and now I have this company calling. OH WELL.  I don't have the $$$.  They will keep calling me. I guess that will be job security for them.

Thanks for the information on whose number this is. They are freaking dumb. I already paid off the money i owe them and they still trying to call me for no reason. I even call them to see if it went through and the said it did but i dont understand y they are still calling me.

It's not like you have to be a rocket scientist to go to UOP either!!!  
Who are you to judge?!  There were people in my classes that were posting their attendance in the wrong thread constantly, those are the dumb a***s!  Not someone who says a quote wrong!  Your probably just bitter because you couldn't hack it either!

I agree...UOP is very rude..they are all sweet when they want you to go to their school but when I couldn't attend anymore because of the hurricane and work, they called one day and said I needed to pay them 3,000 dollars and so I asked "how long do I have to pay this?"  They said "72 hours"  I was like I can't give you that in 72 hours so then the lady was a bi*** and told me that, that meant I was not being compliant and not cooperative and hung up on me!!!  I am not paying them a cent either!  They can call till their fingers fall off!!!

Yes it's UoP and yes the give you the run around. I had no electricity after Hurricane Ike, for 3 weeks. Filed to restart my classes. Then my mother passed. They were supposed to put of the start of my classes, it wasn't sone and I got charged for the classes, i did not take. They kept telling me they would fix it. but never did and now they are trying to collect.

they call me all the time. they're rude. i've not answered once. and you know what, whatever. I went to UOP, its a governmental based college. THe marines use that school and its tailored to meet the marines needs. therefore, what everyone's getting from them, eh, you can half expect. I made straight a's and still wasn't learning a damned new thing. so I guess that means either they dont care, or im just smart. now they want me to pay, and i didn't even learn anything new? ha! they'll wait, along with the rest of us.

This same BS just happened to me with the "wonderful" UOP. I had set up an installment agreement with them to get my balance due paid off within 12 months. I had made every monthly payment that was agreed upon, and they still sent me over to collections with this place. Nobody at UOP corporate office can conviently no longer discuss this with me.

But yet I still can log into the online website and access my account balance and make a payment there - WTF!

I agree. They did the same thing to me. I left the college and they sent back the LOA to my lender. Now they want me to pay them. Dumbasses

UOP rep wouldn't approve my LOA. Returning my Fed Loan to lender was the worst thing they could do. Now they want me to pay them for nothing?! I don't think so! When I get my degree, I'll pay.

This gal calls me, I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it. She leaves a voicemail with her name Renee and a number to call back. Doesn't tell me what she's calling about, the company name, nothing, just call back it's important. I have yet to call back since up until now I had no idea who/what it was for. They can call me until they are blue in the face because we set up a payment plan with UoP and they tried to tell me that the information we gave them doesn't work. Funny then that I was able to log into my account on UoP website and make a payment on my account with the exact same information we provided to them for the payment plan. Not my damned fault they can't put the stuff down right now is it? I will pay them when I have the danged money to pay them and until then they can just sit and wait since it was them who screwed me over to begin with!

i got a call from them my dad answered and he was pissed because the a-hole somehow got our house number when the person who i knew went to that school (who also did ID theft on me got the number)...wtf. freakin a55wipe

Yes, this is true.  I was a student for a while and they did not do their part and came back to tell me that I owed them money when I really didn't. I also sent the main office of UOP a letter and never got a response. Oh well let them try to collect... I am not paying it.

And yes it was about a University of Phoenix account, BUT, its weird , I tried to call to enroll and no one answered or returned my call, but, 3 months later? I'm starting to get tired of the run around with University of Phoenix. They are starting to get a bad rep. Its like they dance around the bush to stall you then they try to slap on a bill to collect when really its their fault.

They aren't pleasant, this guy seemed rude and in a hurry.

Its a collection agency for University of Phoenix, or Axia College. They are actually very pleasent, and work with you.

John Phillips calling about a major development that I want to be made aware of...no name of a company or anything else.  Said it was in the Sacramento are.  I dont know anyone there.

A man called and said "[my name], I need you to call me back immediately. My number is..."
He sounded rude. I don't know anyone in California, and if I did they'd at least pronounce my last name correctly. So, I just deleted the message.

A guy from "Platinum Recovery Services" left a message on my answering machine.
