I received a call (recently of a similar nature). Someone left a message on my vm, knew my name, said she was Melody as if I knew her.

This phone number 1-916-760-0323 is the office number for CA Singles here in Sacramento, California.  Although I did not receive call from this number, I did receive another call from Melody in response to the online questionnaire I filled out on 03/06/14.  I was researching this company further to decide whether I would like to do business.  It appears legitimate.

Unwanted call

I received a message from "Christina".  She used my name and asked me to call her back as if I knew her.  Don't have a clue who this is.  Obviously some type of scam because while the person was very clearly pretending to be someone that I should know.... she definitely was NOT.

This is NOT a scam or some random call.  When you get a call from those numbers- it is in RESPONSE to a questionaire that YOU filled out online about wanting more information.  Your info want bought or sold- its in direct response to a request from YOU.

Instead of blaming someone else for having information that you freely gave out, take some time and personal responsibility to screen what information that you give out.

The message is generic because its matter of a semi-personal nature.

Mature Singles, it is!  I was also getting calls from 925-215-9815 and I finally decided to answer it.  It was someone from "Love Connection" or something like that who tossed out the name Mature Singles.com and was basically trying to sign me up for their program and figure some way to squeeze money out of me.  As soon as the last letter S of the phrase "I no longer need your services" left my tongue, the woman hung up on me.  There were three different phone numbers that I started getting calls from when I was stupid enough to do what this other guy did.  650-240-4665, 973-482-3624, 916-760-0323, and this 925-215-9815.  Face it...if it wasn't a scam, these people would be leaving their company names or intentions on our voice mails...not just hanging up or leaving a generic message like "Hi, this is Melody...please give me a call".

Really?  That's great news.  I've had a bunch of calls from that numbers and only a couple of messages.  One said she was Melody and one said she was Rachel.  I thought for sure it was some creditor or something!  What a relief.  The numbers are set to "no ring" on the phone now so at least I don't have to be bothered by them (there must have been at least 10 of these in the last 2 weeks).

Sons-da-bi****s:  I went to www.realmaturesingles.com and stupidly entered my cell phone number.  Got two calls today, one from Christina and one from Melody - same thing - caller ID said a different area than the phone number to call.

I just got the same thing, but caller ID was 916-760-0323 and call call to Melody number was 650-240-4665.  Anyone figure out who this is and why?

I received 2 calls 2 days (2/14/10 and 2/15/10) in a row from this number.  The first call left a message for me to call back "Melody". I don't know anyone named Melody in the Sacramento area.
