this manfrom l.a police call me at work and made me call this number and he told me i had criminal charges also he said i will go to prison for three months and they will freeze my driver licenses and bank account. also they will contact my employer.they said that i owed for a cash advance. what a joke.

The person that called me from this number 4 times in 30 seconds. Called me a son-of-bi***!! He was very rude and I told him that I was on the no call list. I put this number on my "block call" list. They some how find other ways to keep on calling. I DO NOT HAVE ANY DEBTS it could not have been for that reason.

indian fella called me on phone # Ive only had 3 months_looking for Jerry Lewis-give me a break-very hard to undeerstand-recieved several calls for this guy and finally freaked-called back and asked for supervisor and stated my complaiant-got hung up on as usual-seems Jerry Lewis owes this guy money-lol

I got a call from 916-850-0941, A  middle eastern man threatening that I was going to be arrested in the morning if I didn't settle a cash advance. When I said I didn't take a cash advance  he stated I should resolve this matter before I lose my job, medical benefits..I told him that this is a scam and I am calling the authorities as soon as we hang up. he hung up on me. Called back to try to get the lawyer information and he hung up. before he hung up he said that I would be contacted by the authorities. Will never do anything online like that again! Hope you wont either!

This idiot i can hardly even understand "alex jones" are u kidding me... alex jones? Thats all u could come up with... he calls me twice a day faithfully saying i need to have my attorney call him for a loan that i owe which by the way i have never taken out a loan and checked my creditreport theres nothing there either... this guy needs to be stopped. I was at work and the called my work number picked up the line a thick Indian accent man named Mark stated he was calling from State Attorney office and stated there was several legal issues with my name and ss# when I heard that I got frustrated because he wouldn't answer my questions and I couldn't understand him so he gave the phone to another man same issue couldn't understand he proceeded to give me a number 916-850-0941 to contact Logan Fernandez about this manner. I never called this number because of recent calls to Kingston Jamaica on my cell phone bill calling numbers back that was suppose to be here in the states but ended not to be but in Jamaica. Just really frustrated that people can try and get away with this crap and have the balls to call at a work place.... Single parent don't need to lose my job over this crap! Same exact thing happened to me. I finally told hom i found all the information i needed about him online.lol. He hung up. I called "michael johnson" back a few times just to f*** with him. Of course he hangs up.each.time. Said somethng about a payday loan i never repaid...UUUm, mr johnson, i mever got a payday loan, and no funds from any sort were transfered into my acct.lol. Everytime i call back, he picks up. Try harrassing HIM, i dmt think he will like it too much ;)

middle eastern sounding man left a message saying that if i did not return the call someone would be at my mailing address to arrest me and that a law suit had been fooled against me. I informed my lawyer of this. When i called and asked who he was, the man hung up. And gave me no information.

A middle eastern man called me at my job twice. He threatened me if I didn't pay $650.00 that the sheriff's department would be called and I would be arrested. He also said that I would go to court and if I lost that I would be charged with $9000.00 and would spend 6 months in jail. With a wife d that is disabled,  a grandchild on the way and myself working at a job for 11 years, this not right and needs to be delt with. What do I need to do?

Just received a call from this number (916-850-0941) from my cell and a guy with an indian accent by the name of john anderson left a voicemail telling me about charges that were filed against me. He also said that they were faxing over warrants to the sheriff's office so they can go and arrest me at my work. After hearing the voicemail (i was at work) the same guy called my work and i spoke to him he gave me the same number he called from and said i need to speak to the state attorney by the name of Logan Fernandez. I freaked not even thinking that it was a scam. They have personal information so i have informed my bank, my employer and set up alert fraud for my social. Thanks to you guys for posting this online i googled the phone number and this website came up. i feel so much better but still taking precautions and covering my behind.

Take a deep breath. There is nothing they can do to you. Tell them the next time they call your phone line has been tapped and the FBI is monitoring their calls. If push comes to shove, have your phone number changed to an unlisted number.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I received today a call from person with indian accent.I still have recording of his voice message.They threating me lawsuit also to paid $895.33 in 15 minutes or otherwise I will regreat and be seen to jail this according to Cannon Brewster.They need to stopped.Iam senior handicapp confined to wheelchair and I am thinking of suicide do to this threat that do not want to stop

I got several calls from this company.  They give lots of threats and ask for lots of information.  They say that if you do not give them the information a sheriff will be at your work or home address within an hour.

They need stopped!  They could really get to an elderly person or cause someone to have a heart attack or to give them information out of fear!

I recieved a threatening call and voice mail from this number as well.. I said I would contact the police. no one could tell me what it was about. he said I would go to jail and loose my job.

i got the same call. they left a message telling me to call them. ask the man to explain who it was from be kept running off saying you need to take care of it a police will be at your job or mailing address to arrest you. i called the man back to continue to ask questions. i told him it was a prank and he hung up onn me.

Harassing call like all the complaints. Mentioned their scam and the India phoney American name got flustered. Blocked their #'s.

SAME CALL rcvd today at 8 am NY time: hung up on when I kept asking for HIS information.

Same thing happened to me, middle eastern man called me and when I asked him for details he hung up.  I called back and was threatened that if I called again that he would file harassement charges against me---how wierd he was harassing me first-he keeps hanging up on me and said that my attorney should call but when i explained to him I had no information to give to my attorney he hung up.  If you look on cashadvanceusa.net they have a warning that if anyone is calling you on their behalf that it's a scam.  HUM Should i call them back and tell them that?

Same thing happened to me today. I have filed a report with my local Prosecutors office and the office of the Attorney General Kamala Harris. The calls should stop!

I received a call from this number, when I answered the line was dead. Then I saw I had a voice mail. The caller had an indian accent and said his name was Michael Johnson. He threatened with law suits and jail if me or my lawyer did not return his call. He did not say who he was with or who was wanting to sue me, only that I had to call him. His accent was very bad and I could hardly understand him. What is this all about?

I was treated by them and called attorney and gave them my attorneys number they stopped

They started calling at 6:30 this morning! When I answered it was silent. This has to stop!

They may have been trying to get a clean 'yes' recorded so it could be cut in with a different question but you thwarted them by adding more.
