She's back at it and this time she's broadened her search. She scammed me for $390. I reported her to the police and they're investigating it now. She now goes by the name Hunter Taylor, but she made the mistake of telling the building owners that her name is Judith Taylor, which is how I found out about her. Thank you to "Almost Scammed" for posting similar messages about her all over the internet. Both the police and I are very appreciative of your work.

Report her to the police if you've been scammed.

I am here at her office now, waiting to meet with her. I will be sure to give her a mouthful for wasting my time, and so many others time and money. I'm from the Bronx, and very serious about my career, she has no idea what she's in for. Security is going to have to drag me out. Making me waste time and spend 35 on parking. She's gonna get it!!

It seems everyone in the Internet is talking about this Judith/Morgan scam.

http://www.ripoffreport.com/judith-delong-and-ma/modeling-talent-agencies/new-york-new-york-ee0b8.htm

This one is more impressive: https://www.ripoffreport.com/judith-delong-morgan/modeling-talent-agencies/new-york-new-york-0D035.htm

I saw this warning on craigslist about Judith Delong, but then it was deleted. WTF? Instead I see http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/tfr/3237264016.html ("Seeking scam victims who want justice"). I am suspicious...

I think we should keep posting it over and over again on craigslist, in the jobs section. If it were not for this warning on craigslist, I would have also been scammed...

I hate those people. Why can't they just make their own money, honestly, like everybody else?

WARNING:

do not respond to any modeling ads on craigslist asking to send a photo and contact information and claiming no experience necessary. The scam artist behind these postings is Judith Delong, however she has most recently gone by the pseudonyms "Morgan Taylor" and "Candy Taylor" and in the past she has been "Amy" and "Suzette." She has dozens of phony modeling websites including castingsnyc.com and whynotcasting.com. She rents office space on an hourly basis and changes location as soon as people find out they're being scammed. She has rented office space from 40 Wall Street, 845 3rd Avenue, 315 Madison Avenue and 575 Lexington Avenue. She promises compensation and bookings. She asks for $360 cash up front, then she will make an appointment for you to have photos taken by her scam partner-in-crime, "Marco," whose real name is Max de Cherci. http://www.maxdecherchi.com/ is his real website. This is his side-hustle where Morgan refers him business and takes a cut of the $360. His studio, Silver Studios, is located at 320 west 37th St. #302. He will send you photographs including a file attachment through an email other than his professional one so that the file cannot be tracked back to him. The file expires a couple of weeks after receiving the e-mail. His website is maxdecherci.com. "Marco" is Morgan's accomplice. After receiving your photos, Morgan will tell you to call her. At this point she will ask for more money upfront, $260 to be exact, to have the images touched up. She tells you to upload your top five favorite images to whynotcasting.com along with your measurements and that the retouchers will get to work on retouching immediately. Your photos will never actually be retouched and she pockets the $260.

"Morgan" frequently changes phone numbers. A couple of her numbers include (917) 297-6616 and (212) 726-2322. Her numbers are often disconnected and she will act like she can't hear you over the phone. She has been scamming naive, prospective models on Craigslist and via her phony business websites for decades. She was prosecuted by the Department of Consumer Affairs in 2004 http://www.nyc.gov/html/dca/html/news/pr_112304.shtml and this is what she looks likehttp://otomayimbdipper.blogspot.com/2011/08/judith-delong-on-soho.html.

If you have been a victim of this woman's scams, please file a complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs at 311 as well as the District Attorney at (212) 335-8900 or (212) 416-8000.

Here's my short story.
I've sent my pic in respond to craigslist ad. They were looking for models for Fashion Week. just got a late call from the unknown number so i didnt pick up. they texted me to call them back. i googled the number and read all these reviews so i texted them back "It's ok, thank you". They called right away, i didnt pick up again. After that i received a text saying "and you want to be a model. very bad attitude". I responded "please, don't bother. I know this is scam". In 2 minutes another text "LOOSER PRINCESS!".

some weird unprofessional model agency. you can check their website www.whynotcasting.com.

Same thing happened to me. She's acting like the liaison between a model casting agency and us.  I asked her what agency, and she said Model Castings.  Doesn't exist.  Scam scam scam.  And I have no idea how she got my phone number.

Similar story as the others.  I thought it was strange that I was getting a response to a casting call by text at 10 pm on a sunday night.  I looked up the phone number on the web and saw these other stories.  I called the number this morning, she asked if I had an agent or manager, and when I said I did but started to explain, she hung up on me before I even finished my sentence.  Clearly a scam.  Beware.

I got a call and text asking me to call back about a casting call. Lady with deep voice answered and asked me if I was represented and I said no. She asked me to come in the next day to 315 Madison Room 901. She then texted me to confirm the next morning (which is weird... A text?) and I asked her to remind me what agency I'd be meeting with and she just said "casting". I asked again what agency because I'm uncomfortable showing up with no information (bc I think this came from a craigslist ad) and she just replied "Casting its for fashion nice building don't be paranoid". I'm getting the heevy jeevies... It makes me think it's some scam or something more dangerous? I cant find any information on the location... So I'm assuming it's being rented out for whatever today.

Received a call and a text from this number asking to call back regarding a casting.
i called back, and a lady with a very gruff sounding voice said hello, and then asked if i was working with a manager or with an agent. i'm not, and said no. she  then she continued with the conversation. she asked if i wanted to come to a casting tomorrow at 1:15pm. I said what is this for? and she said i dont know, i'm just the answering service. i said ok, where is the location? she said 42nd and Madison, and then quickly asked if i'd be coming. i said no i dont think so if you can't tell me what the casting is for. and then before i was finished talking she asked my age--- and i said, again what ad did i apply for and then she rudely hung up mid sentence.
