I jsut got a call from a guy stating he was from the cancellations department of Comed claiming to be manuel gonzalez. What really struck me was that he called the phone to my business instead of my direct which i linked to all my companies. Ive been dealing with Comed for some years now and when you call they never call directly its always a machine. Once i picked up he started to speak very quickly in spanish with an accent which was not mexican...and all he said when i questioned him he would start yelling "whats seems to be the problem?" Thsi is not regular Comed employee behavior! So my daughter did some research on him and found that he was calling from a magicjack landline In Riverside,California.

Same thing happened to me: ALEX GONZALES with phone number 917 300-3610. He told me he was the Manager of the Departamento of Cancelaciones (Department of Cancellations) for TEP in Tucson AZ, that 3 months worth of electricity payments did not go through, etc etc etc. BE VERY CAREFULL people!!!

Just got al call from this guy, reported to my gas company I wonder if there is anyway to stop this guy

I just got a call from a guy telling me  that they where going to cut my eletricity because i had not payed but that if i gave him all the information that he would prevent this from happenning, I would go to Wal-Mart or CVS pharmacy and "make an application to bring the account up to date."
After few minutes i realized that was a scam, so i gave  part to NYPD about this guy and his phone number.

I also just got off the phone with this Alex Gonzalez at 917-300-3610.  He also threaten to have my parents electricity turned off.  He said 3-4 months worth of electricity payments did not go through and $445 was going to be sent back to us in a few days.  Today, my parents home was going to have the electricity turned off if we did not go to Wal-Mart or CVS pharmacy and "make an application to bring the account up to date."  Of course he wanted me to deposit $445 so that the electricity would not be turned off.  I could not contact SMUD to verify the status of the disconnection.  So, after a few hours of fighting with him in Spanish we learned he is a scammer!!!  Then I called him back a few hundred times to irritate him!

I just got off the phone with some person claiming to be notifying me that I was in danger of getting my electricity cut off for non payment of two months. They knew my, and my wife's names, which I found strange now that this has happened. He initially called my house but my wife thinking it was a vendor told him she was my sister and that both me and my wife were not home. He wanted my work phone but my wife told him to give her his number instead, which he did.

 I called the guy back, he claimed his name to be ALEX GONZALES with phone number 917 300-3610. He told me he was the Manager of the Departamento of Cancelaciones (Department of Cancellations) for PG & Edison; which by the way, the entire conversation took place in Spanish. Once I told him I didn't have PG & Edison he apologized and quickly hanged up. I found this to be kind of strange so I'm posting this message so everyone be on the alert.

these people are perverts and are scheming. They are stating that they are calling on behalf of Edison and that they are calling to collect funds on tax that is owed.
