I work at in the maintenance dept at a hospital and got a call just now from "Ed" (Indian sounding) who wanted to know the name of the director of development.  I asked, "development of what?" LOL  He said product development to which I replied, "we are a hospital."  What is this for?  He wanted to send out a publication on something-or-other and I said we are not interested, but thanks ever-so-much.  Buh-bye.  Seriously!

Just received a call on my cell. what area is 917?

Overseas caller asked for the name of the "person in charge of quality". I explained that we don't give out name and title information, and, no, they won't be transferred either. The caller politely thanked me and ended the call.

Tagged them on the system as "Telel-phisher Max".

Said it was Spire Printing & Packaging.  Wanted to talk to me about packaging supplies.

Asian woman called my work asking for the director of Supply Chain. I asked what it was regarding and she said she is looking to update some information. I asked what company she was with and she got all upset and said Social Security. So I questioned her some more and  explained to her that I do not give out information to solicitors and she got mouthy with me! I told her she is being unprofessional with me and I asked to speak to her manager or direct supervisor and that's when she hung up.

Got SIX calls from 917-325-7700 in two days.  3 calls this afternoon within 5 minutes..  When I do pick up, it's this non english speaking asian female asking for me, and reading a script congratulating me for choosing some insurance company,  The area code is New York and I'm in Ontario - when I ask this female where she gets my number, she stops talking and it's dead air.  I've called the number back twice and it goes to voice mail - Max something or other that gives out his email address and asks you to leave a message.  My next step with these calls are to contact the police for harrassment.

Got survey for air quality call yesterday with foreign woman's voice.  Today got several calls from this 917 number, but no one ever came on line.A4M8

On 2/3/11 I got a call from Rutten Maximili, but I did'nt answer the phone because I did'nt know who Rutten Maximili was, and I have been wondering why this person called. I looked up 917 and it says that the area code is for New York,Ny. It is very strange that someone would just call like that, and would know my number.

really does not bother me to much since i only use my house phone for outgoing calls, everyone else thats important to me calls me on my cell.
funny part is that in october i had FIOS installed including VOIP phone. since they charge extra for an unlisted number (something i didn't want to pay for) i chose their option for a name to display of my choosing, The first few calls i answered they asked for me with the stupid silly first name i had choosen, now the whole family knows if someone asks for Stupiority to hang up, lol

Woman with heavy Asian accent, taking a "survey on air quality". Knew my first name, asked if home owner, age group, didn't give any info to her.

Wanting information on who is our marketing director. If you don't know, I'm not telling.
