Do that. Call your service provider and have them deal with it.

Thank god I am not alone... I have received a few in the past 20 mins... I am with Bell in Ontario.  I am going to call them and see if I can block this,.

Got trxt from hbc. alert. call. dont know why. twice.

Just received a similar text from this number.  Only one text so far.

I have recieved this message and im with Bell...I dont even own a HBC master card. This is ridiculous!

I've gotten about 30 texts from (999) 999-9999 in the last 10 minutes.  It's driving me crazy!  Says to call regarding Hudsons Bay company Alert, 1-917-460-0123.

What can we do about this???!!!

I got a text from 9999999999 saying to call that nummber so this is a spam!?

I got the same message--but I don't have a MC. Clearly a scam

I am in Ontario Canada on Telus and got the same text if you look at your bill it says email_tm_rcv so it is an email
I called Telus and complained that it cost me $16.80 for 82 messages they credited me the amount back and they can block that number from sending you further email/text messages
My Public Mobile phone never got any like that at all but other ppl in my department got the same messages and they are now calling thie cell providers demanding it to stop and to credit the money back
The area code is a New York City area code

Call your cell provider they will credit the dollar amount back to your account and they can block that number from calling you

Had the same problem with both of my telus phones (mying and my husbands). Called telus 3 times and finally got a tech guy who was kind enough to block numbers that are generated from a computer.  This hopefully will solve my problem give it a try.

I'm with Telus, and have received this same txt messsage about 45 times from 3 - 4.36pm today.

"Subj: call : Hudson's Bay Company Alert.Mastercard Locked.  Please call +1 9174600132"

Didn't call them back however (assuming its a scam like everyone else on this forum)

My sons phone also getting spammed too since feb 25.  At least 200 (no way to tell other than count).
On a LG android 2.2 phone on a  telus/Ontario 10$/month account for 250 text and 25 mins.
Scared all these inbound texts are going to waste his balance and add additional cost.
its showing source as 999-999-9999 (same source as telus system notification messages such as balance renewal).   Just a thought; but maybe someone gotten access to either the phone (via an app) or data/functionality from within the celluar network.

Got this "Mastercard Locked" text message from sndw@nwhbs2.com at 9:50 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26.
I'm with Bell Mobility. Asked me to call 1-917-460-0132. Received 15 of these at the same time. Didn't open any of them.

Same here   master card locked. From a NY number. Clearly a scam.

both hubby and I got texted the same msg. We have different carriers.

I too received text in Ontario through Bell provider telling me my HBC Mastercard was locked (they don't even have my cell number??), glad I found this information letting me know about these people trying to scam us, so far only one text an hour ago & I just ignored it.

I got two messaes on my telus cell phone 917-460-0132. No question it is a scam ! ! !

I am with bell and I have been getting this text from this number all day every 5-15minutes. So frustrating, bell said that the hudson company is working in it :( bell can not block the number they can only disconnect my text so at this point I am doing nothing:(

i too received the same text..i typed back ..nice try dont have one..and so far i have just got the one..fingers crossed

i got one too, telling me my hbc mastercard was locked...obvious scam...very rude of ppl to do this
