The call had an echo like some overseas call have sometimes. He asked for me by name, but his accent was so thick I had a very hard time understanding him. He called and I didn't answer it. Then he called again--I thought it might be important so I answered it. It wasn't. 917 is a NYC area code, but the number does not exist. I am reporting the number to the FCC for spoofing and for calling someone on the do not call list. I suggest all of you do the same.
