I got the following text message from this number today:

(S)(U)(N)(T)(R)(U)(S)(T) Alert. Please Contact 6466884771

I called the number and an automatic message says "Thanks for calling suntrust bank.  we regret to inform you your debit card has been locked. to reactivate it press 1, to leave press 2."

They call me too but have another number 469-254-6201.  I'm on the no call list and have filed a complaint. If they call again I will file with the police. I'm in the Dallas area and the company is Reliance.  She calls to sell me air duct cleaning.

This has been going on for at least the past year where I have recieved phone calls from this company asking if I want my carpets cleaned and the like. I explained that because I live in an apartment complex such services are handled through the main office. I asked that they remove me from their list, yet the calls persist. Most recently I demanded they stop calling me then when the caller kept trying to negotiate with me, I yelled at him to remove me from his list and threatened to file a harassment complaint. When I asked if he understood that, he cheekily said "I'm sorry, what was that?"  They call at any time of the day that I'm at home either early in the morning or late at evening.

Got a hang up call from this number a little while ago. I investigated it and found all this info about this particular number.  It appears to be one to avoid   for sure!

This number has called multiple times, but when we answer, no one is there. It usually takes several rings to find the phone, HA!

Why would this show up as DIR ASST NY????? I take that to be Directory Assistance New York - don't know anyone there, never been there, see no reason the would be calling me.

This number has been calling me every day for 2 weeks.  Usually in the evening.  Answered it once, they got my name wrong, so i hung up.  I tried calling back once as well, and the call wouldnt go through.  I'm guessing its a telemarketer or something.

CONFIRMED credit card SCAM. They called me on a Thursday evening saying I was going to receive a gift card in the mail for being a loyal Mastercard customer. They used the last four digits of my card. I didn't give them any information they didn't already have including phone, address.. except I offered up a secondary email address I use for spam. Then the person just kept talking and talking as I said thank you and pushed to hang up. Story ends 5 days later when my card fraud protection department called me to check on some flagged activity. My card was charge $3.95 and 19.95 for a "warranty" and I think a magazine. Name on the charge was "MySavingsPlan".

Beware. Don't talk to them except to say do not call me again or I am filing a police report. If they keep calling you then file a police report or enter your phone number on "do not call registry."

I have been getting telemarketers from 917-555-3321 , they call 3 to 4 times a night everyday with a visa gift card offer . they have last 4 numbers of a cedit card they want me to comferm and want to record the confermation with their superviser. They DON"T take no! for an answer. Help!

It's not a telmarketer, they are running a credit card scam from India. They ask for someone and say they want to give them a VISA giftcard, but they need their credit card number. You can't call them back because it is a spoofed number. Just have your phone company block them from calling.

971-555-3321 called and it also said Dir. Asst - NY - they identified themselves as Reliance Home Care and would be in our area and I hung up the phone.

I get calls from this number all the time so I just screen the call and do not answer it.

unknown, wish theyd stop calling during dinner and afterwards.  Anyone have this number as a problem?  It says busy or can't be dialed.

The prefix 555 should be a clue that this is a fake number, that prefix is used in TV an Movies so that someone's real number is not given out. Just got a call from that number for the first time today.... of course I didn't hear the phone ring because it is used for internet only....

Did not leave message.  I don't answer calls if they won't identify who is calling on Caller ID.  I have trained my children not to answer the phone if it is from an unknown caller as well.

Some telemarketer called and sold me a package of cleaning up all the ducts and carpets for 3 rooms. The guys came on time and got to work. when they were done, I wrote a check and I decided to check couple of vents. To my surprise none of the return was cleaned and even the Supply vent also had some dust in it. Most of the dust accumulates in the the return vent as from there all the air is sucked up. When I called in their office to complaint, I was told that they have sold me the cleaning of entire duct lines and not all the ducts (returns aren't included in the duct lines). I am not sure how many homeowners will be aware of this definition of duct lines. I feel their marketing teams should be straight forward in letting the users know what all isn't covered. I will caution all the folks to check twice before getting the work done from these folks.

This company seemed great at first... untill our ceiling started caving in. (We used them the summer of 2010) They cleaned out our air ducts and sprayed for mold. After conducting this service the reps did not see the job all the way through and water started dripping in our attic. Thus weakening the sheet rock). They said that if we found some one to fix the ceiling they would then reimburse us. After multiple attempts to just get in contact with someone and leaving messages, we never received a call back nor did we ever get our money back. I would not recommend this company to anyone!

Thanks for the information about the company.  They usually call after 9pm.  First time was 9:50 on a friday night.  I also made a complaint to the FTC.  All of my numbers are on the do not call list. They will not take no for an answer.  My mom lives with me and she called me at work today and she hung up on the person once.  Then the manager called back.  They kept asking for the home address and cell number.  It really scared her.  I am thinking about making a complaint to the local police station.

Received same call twice 917-555-3321. No voice, just a few clicks and I hung up.

THESE PEOPLE CONSTANTLY ARE CALLING AT ALL HOURS.

Had a call from this number last night at 9.50 p.m. I was furious.  
A woman called- said they were doing a special promotion etc... I cut her off and told her to remove my name and number from all call lists.   I am on the " DoNot call Registry"

She continued  speaking and arguing with me- so I interupted her and said " Did you not hear me? Remove my number and never call here again."  Then I hung up.  

Darn it, if the same number didn't call this afternoon at 3.00 p.m.- they hung up when they went into my voice mail. I have blocked this number from my phone list- and suggest others do the same.
If someone has a good idea on how to get the authorities to act- post it here, and I will join any action.

Have repeatedly rec'd calls from this number and they won't stop no matter what I say or do.  They always hang up when I ask for a contact # to report them to the Feds.  They even called as late as 1030pm, which is definately against the laws governing solictors.  I am on both local and Nat'l no call lists and they don't care.

I recently upgraded my home cordless phones to a Panasonic set that has a Call Block feature.  I blocked this number and now when they call, it rings once, says call blocked, and hangs up.  Love it.

and yes, I am on no call lists.

I got a call at 9:40 p.m. tonight.  I asked the girl to repeat the name of the company and it sounded like Reliance Home Care.  She had called for my deceased husband and when I told her that, she said I was eligible for a 16% discount on air duct cleaning with 3 rooms of carpet cleaned free.  I told her I didn't do business with companies in NY.  She said they are not in NY, but they just use a voice over internet line.  I am outside Dallas and I asked her where they were located.  She told me in Dallas and gave me the address 925 Estate Lane and a local phone number of 214-383-5712.  Both are bogus.  I told her she was in violation of the do not call list and telemarketing regs for calling after 9:00 p.m.  She started stuttering and saying I'm sorry but... I interrupted her and told her I would report her to the Texas PUC, FCC, and DA for attempting to scam me.

Again just the very next day at 10:30am less than 24 hours this same number on my caller ID "Dir Asst NY" "917 555-3321"  shows up again on my Phone. THEY NHAVE THE NERVE TO CALL ME CONSTANTLY!!!!!! I have told them I was not interested & to STOP calling me yesterday at 7:14pm when they called. I answered the Phone & after I said hello i waited to hear what this asian Indian acented lady was saying & i told her mam I know who you are & I have aready made reports on them.
This person said they was in the area & wanted to do  some carpet cleaning & up holstery  clening as well. I have already contacted my states attorney generals office.

I just received another call from this Number 917 555-3321 now. This is the second time today that they have called me. Every 6 to 8 week or so they keep calling me. About half the time when they do call they wont speak when the phone is answered with a simple hello. they simply hang up. Apparenty they will not stop bothering me. They have been told constantly to stop calling me
The caller ID always say "Dir Asst NY" 917 "555-3321" This area code is for the metro New York City.
Do I need to contack the attorney general for this state and or the FCC office in new York state?

I have received 4 calls from this number in the last 4 days.  They are wanting to clean the air ducts in my home.  Tell me they are running a special on my street.  When I say I am not interested they get very upset.  Asked yesterday who they are with and was told Reliance Home Care.  I have looked them up and have e-mailed them about these calls.  It shows they are a Home Health Care Service located in the East.  I live in Texas
