I received this same call by Fax which is a personal fax/telephone number of our home.  I have received it in the past.  I to received the exact fax that CJ posted and looked into the information and here is what I found my caller ID  shows the caller from Bank of America (205) 967-5398 which is in Birmingham Alabama the Phone number (917) 563-9734 is in Flushing, New York and the Fax (917) 591-3168 located in New York, New York.  I guess these Morans don't know who they are or where they want to be reach.  Good deal or not these people called at 6 in the morning, they are idiots who have nothing better to do then to try and scam people.  If they were honest they would have all the information CORRECT. I'm not interested & I'm tired of these and other callers.

received the same fax from Dave Thomas at Pacific Capital Finance Group stating spoke in the past regarging equipment financing. Addressed to my father who hasn't worked the past 2 years and just passed away  It did give a fax# but did not give a opt out phone number. their fax# 917-591-3168

I know this type of scam so I take a  solid black piece of paper and fax it at least 5 times to their fax#

Received exact same fax as CJ. Only no addressee. And no return fax number as required by law. Definitely shady and will add to next local networking agenda Chamber of Commerce and local Police Department for weekly email braodcast of suspected scams. Don't give this loser the satisfaction of a call.

No "remove" information also required by law. Only bright side is our firm has participated in two class action lawsuits against similar emails and made a couple hundred dollars each time with no effort. Dave Thomas may be next!

By the way, 917-563-9734 is the telephone given in the body of the fax. The fax number given is 917-591-3168. Other businesses have received the same fax listing different numbers.

This is a scam. It is a junk fax that has no originating fax number printed at the top of the page, which is required by law. The fax is addressed to a former exec of a company that hasn't been at this location for over three years. I seriously doubt that that company had a "positive Dun & Bradstreet credit rating" as the fax states, since the company went out of business and was in a lot of legal trouble.

I am so sorry for whoever masquerades as "Dave Thomas" because he obviously has no real life, so feels he must try to scam people using a fictitious business. Well, it's bound to only get worse when the FCC becomes involved.

i got the same fax, gave them a call. I ended up financing 2 dump trucks, their rates were decent. Dave was very pleasant. Most importantly, their turn around time was very quick. I usualy just throw these advertisements away, but figured it was worth a try.

Junk fax from "Dave Thomas" complete with the "we spoke in the past" lie, was correctly addressed to the name of the business owner-- two owners and ten years ago.
