These As*hats just texted my telephone. Once I saw this I knew it was a scam, but how do you report these sorry excuses for humanity to the right authorities to give them their just desserts?

I also got a text,
totally a scam

Got a message from the above number saying:

"Your entry into the contest last month has made you a WINNER! Go to [http://www.apple.com.textwon.com] to receive your prize! You have 24 hours to claim it."

The link has apple.com in it so you may think it's legit but it's not. SCAM I think.

i got a text from them and felt weird about it. so i asked a friend, then checked the number on google like i always do. i am glad for this website and disappointed in this apple blah blah blah website. not cool.

Am getting texts from these jerks which cast me 20 cents a hit. Called my cell provider to complain. Poor results...

I checked the site (because let's face it, my computer already needs replacing), and it turned out to be one of those "enter your email address and select one of three prizes above (then complete an offer for your 'free' prize)"

that is not to say, however, that a trojan or other such malware was not downloaded onto my computer

Just got a message that I'd won based on my entry last month. Didn't complete an entry and won't be bothering to contact this obvious scam at www.apple.com.textwon.com in the next 24 hours. I don't know how these guys are allowed to operate.

These guys are a scam obviously. Good on you for looking it up.

The website is NOT Apple; they hope to fool people by including "apple.com" and hoping people will ignore "textwon.com".
