I had the same message: "Walmart's winner of the day etc" I live in Quebec, Canada. The phone number was 917-769-7973, somewhere in NY.

I got tha same text today, i live in kenora, Ontario, i have no idea how these ppl got my number..?? LOL and here i really thought that i actually won something, and then i decided to google it, and then i saw this stuff!!! WOW!!! ppl can be such scammers!!!!!

Yeah, I got the exact same text message on my cell phone. I live in Vancouver Canada. I think it's a phishing scam of some sort.

i just got a call saying the same thing congratulations from walmart and that i won there contest if it is a scam can someone tell me how they got my number i shop there sometimes but have never won anything

I also just got a "congratulations" from Wallmart, and like the rest of you have never gave out my number. Looks like a mass computer generated SCAM.
