I receive a call almost every day from this number. When I called it said Welcome to Vehicle Direct. They sell Maintenance insurance for cars out of warranty. They must have my number from a list of soon expiring auto leases or something.

This was someone who said something quick about car protection for my [she named the year and model of my car]. When I said I'm sorry I don't know who you are, she said ok and hung up.

Thanks for confirming my suspicion. This number has called me five times in the past week and never left a voicemail so I know it's not anyone I know.

Everyday after work I turn on my phone and have missed calls from this number. I try calling it back but it turns out to be an out of service number. Obviously someone is spoofing which means it is not legitimate. You've been warned.
