I got the same email from this brendan about being on an offshore oil rig..  The text he sent is from 631-618-8337.    I received this message after posting an add on www.kijiji.ca for the sale of my truck.

Same message you guys got from our ad posted on carsonlinefree.com  He is texting from (862) 203-5665  His text asked us to email him at taylorb2k@gmail.com  His text messages came from tbrendan21@gmail.com    Also got a message from a Nigerian.  I'd say stay off carsonlinefree.com too.

Any Luck? I just had a phishing from Brendan Taylor. He changed his email again though. I also reported him.

I got sms from someone called Brendan and asking to email at tbrendan21@gmail.com. Glad i Googled.

Same email from tbrendan21@gmail.com, and text from number tel:678-568-3632. Beware!

I got the same text right after I posted my car for sale on carsforsale.com
He changed his email to brendant39@gmail.com
Be aware!

Please report him to the FBI!  I just did.  They'll take action if several people report this creep.  I'm also reporting him to Craigslist and PayPal.

I got the SMS from 706-705-9084 and the email from Brendan Taylor <brendan2508@gmail.com> about him being on an oil rig. Only if we seriously prosecute these criminals will the scamming stop.

Tried to scam me too.  His text came from 646 area code.  I called FBI, and filled out a report at www.IC3.gov on the guy.  The more people report him, the higher the likelihood the feds will investigate.

He's a car buying scammer going by the name Brendan with the email brendan2508@gmail.com
