this company must be a scam.  i received a call and as soon as i asked the person to identify what company they are with, they hung up on me!!!!!

The f*#$-ing jerks called@ 9am, apparently just to see if anyone would answer cause they hung up as soon as I did without saying ANYTHING.

This is the work of a pretext call company.  These are outside callers who, on the behalf of creditor clients (credit cards, loan companies, debt purchasers and collection agencies), place calls to accomplish several objectives.  

First, they attempt to establish that their client's debtor is indeed a resident of a particular address and that they maintain a particular phone number.  They also try to discover the general financial conditions of a debtor, specifically identifying assets that can be pursued in a potential suit.  Some simply place calls in order to report "best times to catch targets at home" to their clients.  Finally, they try to gain info related to the debtor's family members in order to possibly make direct contact with those people during future attempts to collect on debts owed their client(s).

Do not speak to these people or even acknowledge them.  The best thing to do is to simply ignore the calls.  That can be difficult to do, but it's the only way to strip them of thier power and value.

what jerks!!  they call and leave messages on my recorder!!  they love to call early and late...just to p...s me off!

this number came up as a cell phone...in ny. some woman asked me about my credit card...i'm eligible for something blahblah. i was like honey, i only have one credit card and i'm behind a thousand dollars on it..i'm not eligible for s**t!! and she hung up on me  fake a** losers

These scumbags called my patients home. The two residents are a very old woman and her handicapped granddaughter. I helped put them on the DNC list.

When they calld I pressed ONE also. The concersation went as follows:
Sir, ONE this family is on the DNC and you are violating Federal Law. TWO this family does not have a credit card.

The jerk on the other end of the phone laughed at me and said ONE: why did you press One TWO: Suck my d**k and THREE f**k you!

I asked to speak to his supervisor. He repeated the f**k you and the suck my d**k several times. I told him that I was gay (which I am) and his d**k did not interest me. The "supervisor" finally got on the phone. She proceededd to tell me that this individual is the "best salesman that we have" and "I just don't believe he would day something like that." The jerk joined our conversation, and admitted that he said this. They both laughed like crazy, and slammed the phne down.

I called AT & T, and they were identify that the call came from New York. She then transferred my call to the FCC. We will be receiving a formal cmplaint form in the mail to make the complaint.

Oh, I also took a picture of the Caller ID, to add along with the complaint form.

We called there # and its not working now!

I use my computer FAX to answer these calls. Let them think its a fax line.

They call me every 2 or 3 days.  I hit 1 to ask to be removed, and they
hang up on me each freak'n time.  I hate this company!

I just rec'd a call from this number and when I answered, no one replied so I hung up and I Googled it to see what was going on.  I am on the DNC list, too, but it seems to be doing no good.

On all long-distance calls showing up on caller ID, I don't answer them. I have voice mail & after the 4th ring, it goes to voice mail. This # never leaves a message.

They called and hung up on machine

My mom has been receiving calls from this number for days. She just hangs up on them, but today, I answered the phone, and the recording said the usual stuff about lowering my interest rate, and I bit and pressed "one". I got an "operator" who asked if I was interested in lowering my interest rate. I said,politely, "Well, what I really want to know is how you got my number, because I don't even have any credit cards." His reply was, "Well, what the hell'd you press "one" for?" and promptly hung up on me. These people have to be fishing for info. Don't fall for this scam!

They call every few days inquiring about credit adjustment.  I answered last time because the ID said "cell phone NY"

just received a call about how they could decrease my interest rate. when i waited forsome to come to the line i asked what company they were with and they hung up on me. Definitely will be waiting for the next call. Somebodys going to be in trouble.

They keep calling fishing for info. This time I was physically threatened. How do you deal with this situation?
