I play a (loud) siren sound I have recorded just for telemarketers. I don't know how much it actually bothers them, but it makes me feel good!

Call from Jessica about Yellow Pages. Of course she hung up when the one question was too tough. "What is it in reference to?"

I received a call from this number. I didn't answer. They left no voice message.

These people call 2 or more times per day.  Obviously, telemarketing scammers.  They say they are updating online yellow pages and they are NOT.  They are trying to sell you something.  We have repeatedly told them not to call but they continue.  I wish we had a way to block specific phone numbers.

Answered the call...heard some d*ckhead jerking around with a co-worker. I said "hello" but he hung up. ROT IN H*LL A**WIPES.

Caller ID showed N CAROLINA CALL.  Same spiel as what Paul got.  He's calling to update information for your free yellow page advertising etc.   I just hung up.

Online yellow pages scam:  Never, EVER say "yes", it will be recorded.  ALWAYS ignore their questions and ask:  I'm thinking of moving.  Where do I call to update my free listing?  Who has the authority to remove the online yellow pages ad, we don't want it.  What is your workday like?  We know about this scam and we still are not interested in being ripped off.  How much do they pay you to lie to me?  We don't do business over the phone.  Bad people are calling my mother and my small children, over and over, bothering them.

Yellow Pages Online Directory. Claim they want to update your information for their "free" listing then they want to sell you an ad/website claiming you could cancel at anytime. They say they will mail you something but only give you 14 days to cancel and guess what, they never mail anything out telling you who to call to cancel. Then you start getting $40-$50 a month charged on your local phone bill.

Claimed she was calling from Yellow Pages Internet Directory to update our "free" listing. I told her our address has never changed so there is not need to update. She then started talking about the "free" 14 day trial of a website/ad and we could cancel at anytime, they would just send a bill to our phone company. Told them we are not interested in anything they have and she was the 5th person this week to call and update the same thing. I'm blocking their numbers from now on.

This company calls about free Yellow Pages ads and wants to verify all of your information.  Then they want to send you some packet of information that they want you to look at and if you don't like it you can cancel.

If you recognize their line and say you aren't interested, they just hang up on you.

They call WAY too often.  And we are on the DoNotCall list!

Company name they gave me is three initials - something and then ending in CA if I recall correctly

Received call from these guys.  Insisted it was a free ad, and that I owed nothing.  I know it's not SWBYP (or AT&T) because I asked him, and he said it was the Yellow Pages.  I asked if it was another Yellow Pages (as there are more out there) and he just went back to "free ad" mumbo jumbo.  I gave him info.  Hope it was not a mistake.  Did not authorize anything, so if they try to bill us - they won't get anything.  I'm sick (literally) and tired (related to sick) otherwise, I would likely have pressed, and if not waiting for an important call - as well as the fact that we never know what number we'll get a customer from... I answered.  Now, I regret it.  If they do bill, how can they possibly get away with it?  I would call them back - but I've heard of getting charged for making such calls.  Guess I'll just ride this one out.

I would love to stick my foot so far up these m-----f-----g a---holes.  If I EVER find one of the b*****ds I will make sure they remember it

Received call from this number "YellowBook online directory we just need to verify your information for your free listing"... they could not even pronounce the name of my business... I stopped the person in the middle of her speech to say... I am not interested, I don't do any business over the phone, and remove us for your call list"... she instantly hung up on me without further response

I was told when I started working at my place of employment, ask to be removed from all telemarketer lists. So, I received a call from this #. They introduced themselves as calling from Yellow pages online for a free online directory. He started to confirm our address and I politely asked him to take us off their calling list. He responded with and I quote "I know you can die a slow death." then he hung up. I was extremely shocked by what I just heard. I tried contacting yellow pages & they responded back with it could be a number of different call centers. What help they were.
