JUST REPORTED THIS TO NATIONAL DO NOT CALL:
Other people online reporting calls from this number are stating that:
-company having person's credit card numbers and asking for social security number
-robo call stating credit card interest reduction-final call
-having a fraudulent charge on a credit card
-numerous calls even when selecting opt out
-selecting "1" to talk to someone and either being hung-up on (my experience) or someone speaking rudely

Same thing as everyone reporting.

Got a call from this number. It has a recorded message that offers to lower your interest charges. I pressed 1 to speak to an operator with a Russian accent. I asked which bank do they represent.  She said they work for band of America , chase , Citibank and few others. When I asked few other questions - she asked that I call the number on the back of my card.  What a scam !!!

Same thing. Picked up, because I thought it was 920, which is WI. Family there. But it was 909 and no reply. Then it disconnected.

If you are registered with the DoNotCall List, then FILE A COMPLAINT for EACH (and EVERY) of these calls.

If you are NOT registered, register TODAY.  You will have waiting period of 30 days, and THEN you can register complaints.

If the gov gets enough complaints about any one number, THEN, and ONLY THEN can they start the process of GOING AFTER these "S"UCKERS and SHUT THEM DOWN.

I get this number both on land and cell - how can I stop?

Just found a "missed call" on my PRIVATE, UNLISTED PRE-PAID cell from this number.  No name.  No vm set up so that they cannot use up my minutes with their SCAMS.

Obviously this is a NEW scam (or, at least a new number) that they just got set up yesterday or today.

I will be report this the the DNC List and I urge ALL of you to do the same.  If the fed get enough complaints on this number they will start an investigation.  They might not 'catch' these SOBs  - BUT, they might TURN OFF THEIR NUMBER, which will set them back/slow them down for a few days, at least.

We need to do more than just 'complain' here: use the tools the gov't has provided to help ourselves!

Can you give me any info on what type of a card they had info on?  Was it a deprtment store card, a major card or one that is used s both? I am hoping that between a few of us we may be able to narrow it down to the company scamming us/giving out our confidential information.

Got a call from this number today they had all my credit card info and tried to get me to tell them my full social security number. They said my card was going to b charged $740 and my interest rate would be lowered. They could not lower my rate and said they were still going to charge my credit card or the full amount. I immediately called my card company and closed my account and also notified my bank to keep a close eye on my checking account. DO NOT give them any info.

909-468-4423 caller ID was from Pomona, did not answer, did not call back. Glad I looked it up first!

This automated call comes in about your credit cards and how you can reduce your interest rate... It says, "consider this to be your final notice"  Well that is a huge lie!  I have received this call about 4 times in the last week, both on my home phone and now on my cell phone also.  the automated message says "press 1 to speak to someone"  and "press 2 to remove yourself from the list". I have been called several times and always press 2.  However, they never remove me from the list.  Today I pressed 1, got a live person and as soon as I started to explain what I needed, in a nice way, he hung up on me. When I tried to call back they had it blocked, saying due to "network difficulties" the call could not be connected and try later.  Authorities should be monitoring and going after these obvious crooks.

Used to get these calls on my home phone line, now getting them on my cell phone. Same message. Scam. I have reported this to Do Not Call.

just got a call from this number, didn't pick up as i don't answer any calls i don't know. this was on my mobile phone. glad i didn't as it's a scam.

Got a call from 909-468-4423 a couple minutes a go. Caller ID read MT SAC. They hung up after 3 rings to avoid the machine. SO SICK OF THE CALLS!!!

Why isn't there an option under Call Type for SCAM? Most of these phone calls fall under that category. Just putting telemarketer doesn't tell someone it's a scam...

Got a call today on my work phone and answered it thinking it was a work call. Was a recording that said I was approved to get a lower interest rate on my credit card then asked that I press 1 for more information or 2 to not receive any more calls on it.  I pressed 2, but knowing how these things work, that probably only confirmed that someone answered and I'll be getting more calls from them.

I got a call from this number today and the man was very rude and inappropriate. He told me I was denied a lower intereste rate, even though I never applied for anything. He also told me I was wasting his time by asking questions. He wouldn't let me talk and was very rude. They never tried to verify my identity, just kept saying I was denied a lower interest rate. It was very frustrating. I also can't call the number back since there are "network issues" apparently.

they want your credit card info it is a scam.

Caller ID was MT SAC.  No message left.  Location is CA,  I don't answer any calls that I don't recognize the number or caller.  I have so many numbers blocked on my land line and cell phone.  It seems that are the only calls coming in lately.
