Got a call from this number... recorded message saying nothing was wrong with my credit card, but this was an urgent message saying I "must act quickly" to lower my interest rate.....

I too got a call from these people.  It has been awhile, months I think, since the last one.  As usual, I did  not answer it and looked it up.  They can't scam you if you let the phone ring and 4 rings is inconvenient but less trouble than talking to them.

Got a call stating that they could offer lower interest rates on my credit card. I asked them which card they were calling in reference to. I was told that they work for all credit card companies, so I asked how they would know which card to apply the lower interest rate for. Skirted around the question. I then proceeded to state that it seemed odd that the call would be coming from a cell phone. He stated that my caller ID was incorrect and they are a business. I laughed and told them that I would be reporting the number to the FTC. He then got upset and yelled at me to go right ahead, b*tch. I hung up.
Why not get a real job, instead of trying to scam people out of their money? As much time they put into trying to rip people off...they could make a real paycheck.

Was not home when they called, had messge on vm -garbled and muffled. Sheesh- will NOT answer if they call again. Caller ID showed Wireless Caller.

I received a call from 9192281303 and they threaten to take my driver license and also get my social security benefits for a debt I don't owe. The person would not give name of company and began to yell over me.

JUST RECIEVED THE SAME CALL- I NEVER ANSWER THEM

Call from "Wireless Caller".  Recorded message from "Cardholder Services" claiming that "nothing is currently wrong with your credit card account" but offering to "lower your interest rate."  Telemarketing scam, most likely.

No one spoke.

Arrrgh.  These people keep calling my house pretending there is something wrong with my credit card or something like that.  Finally, this time, I stayed on the line and pressed "9" as directed because I was weary of just hanging up.  I knew from the phrasing of their spiel that it was a scam.  When "James" came on the line he asked me if I wanted to apply for credit determination.  I said, "No, I want you folks to stop calling my house."  He hung up on me.

Got a call this morning at 11:36.  Didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the number.  Am wondering how they got my number.

Harrassing phone calls

I pushed the 9 to find out who this company was - "Natalie" hung up on me when I asked her what card services this was.

Got a call from them today.  Tried to report it to the FTC online, was told this phone number hadn't been registered for 31 days, so the complaint could not be registered.  What's that about?

A judge has issued a restraining order prohibiting the "Rachel" and "Heather" at "Cardholder Services" people from making these calls, so if people are still getting calls like this then it is a very serious matter (criminal contempt of court).  Anyone who gets such a call should report it to the FTC immediately, since I'm sure they'd be very interested to hear about it.

Report this company to the national do not call registry if you have placed your phone numbers on the list.

Getaway Solutions called and said because I shopped at a local store I was entitled to $2000 travel credit.
They said they were calling from Orlando.

When I asked for the mailing address of the company to file a written complaint, she changed her name to "Susan".

I didn't even bother trying to get the phone number this time.  They call me once or twice a month at least.  I yelled and hung up this time.  I plan to keep a very loud whistle by the phone from now on...

Got a call on my cell phone from 919-228-1303. They just made a few seconds of loud noise hung up. I called it back and they were unavailable. I added this number to my cell phone address list and set the ringer to "No Ring".

call from this number came at 1:00 PM Monday October 18, 2010. The baboon did not leave a message. I too am tired of these idiots calling and not leaving a message, but then when you are trained to harass people why would you leave a message. May they get caught and serve the ultimate penalty - get dipped in honey and hung by their legs over a fire ant colony.

Recieved call 10/20. Am used to getting scam calls, the message said they'd lower my interest rate. I decided to see what they're about and talk to them. They said they'd help me, but then I told them I have a Maestro card (which I do not, but just wanted to see what they'd say)
He asked if its through an American bank, I said no I'm German.
He then asked the balance on my card.... Shouldn't he know that if he works for mastercard? Anyhow, hung up once I felt uncomfortable answering his questions, but defintely a scam
